I think people are taking this too seriously in the comments. I adore Adam and he's the best actor in Star Wars, but this is how European audiences react to actors playing villain roles. They do the same with pantomime villains.

Aerin Atkins the dynamic between them, to me anyway, is so unique and different from anything I've seen. their relationship is so interesting, and I think that's why I love seeing Rey and Kylo/Ben on screen together. the interesting chemistry between Daisy and Adam translates on screen, and I think it's so fascinating.
