Because the T-Roc is so famous in the UK and around the world, we think it will look a lot like the last model. It will be a small SUV with a squat stance and a steep roofline. The present model got a facelift last year, so we don't think the new T-Roc will be fully shown off until 2025.
The second-generation T-Roc will be Volkswagen's last car to come out with an internal combustion engine, which is a pretty bad title. Euro 7 pollution rules mean that even for Volkswagen, making a new engine to meet the new rules, which will go into effect in 2025, would be too expensive. Instead, the new car should come with powertrains that are already in VW products.
