I drive a Mercedes truck at work and it has that same new drive by wire transmission shifter. Sometimes I didn't know the truck was not in park and it started to roll when I took my foot off the brake. It takes time to get use to. I don't like the fact that you have to press the button in to get into park. What's great is at least the chevy makes a sound to let you know it's in park. I just wish you can just shift into park.

yes in the traverse, acadia, enclave and i’m pretty sure the XT6 (not sure abt the XT6 tbh) prior gens had 2 separate panes of glass, back glass was fixed in place and the front could be opened

Why would they make a Tahoe twin a Cadillac xt6 when there’s already an xt6 ? The xt6 is nearly identical to the Escalade

they are! it’s under development! it’ll have the same 2.5 turbo 4 cylinder and 8 speed automatic transmission found in the new traverse, acadia and the enclave

@@rtcturnemup7028the XT6 is way smaller than the Escalade, plus it isn’t as popular between the 3 other options GM has for their midsize suv. the current generation XT6 is very dated, the interior needs a lot of work. expect the next generation to be revealed soon. it’ll have the same powertrain as the new traverse, acadia, and enclave. it’ll be the 2.5 turbo 4 cylinder paired to an 8 speed automatic transmission.

​@johnny-zh5fj transmissions are only rated for 125k before changing them, 5.3 and the 3.6 can last about 250-300k would be a little better but the new design doesn't allow fuel to clean the top Cylinders anymore so.... also GM vehicles last consideredably longer than most American brands. They have thier problems but you name any brand and I'll pick them apart. The only 2 issues I see with this vehicle is the Gen 1 2.5l instead of the 3.6 VVT out of the Colorado which is unkillable and the fact is has AWD instead of a traditional 4x4. These poor bastards are going to think the Z71 badge means offroad...... #superchargetheZR2SilveradoGM
