Jacob's son is a splitting image of his Dad!

I like how he calls his Dad Jacob, showing respect to the man who he calls close family and the person who actually built Jacob and Co. His son is a class act, this interview truly shows that. Exciting times ahead for Jacob and Co with this young man at the helm.

I have heard about Jacob & Co through Producer Michael videos. When one thinks of jewelry houses building watches; Cartier, Bulgari, and LVMH come to mind first. The watches in this video are stunning and innovative from a design perspective. Probably out of my price range, but the watches featured in this video are truly eye catching.Perhaps next year Jacob & Co will be at Watches & Wonders.

The artistry, craftsmanship, and creativity that comes out of Jacob & Co is amazing. Now what they produce isn't something I'd buy, but that's personal preference and there is no one doing aftermarket "bling" that can come anywhere close to what Jacob & Co are doing.

You wouldn't buy because someone said you shouldn't. Bet If all dealers tomorrow said the Rolex rainbow is thrash, you would follow suit. Why do you strongly feel Jacob & Co Watches are bad, ask yourself and try to come up with your own reason, let's see.

I think he left the company around the same time his dad got sent to prison for money laundering and fraud (~2008). Then came back 10 years later.

I like seeing watch brands doing their own thing, I think they make some incredible watches although some are not my taste. I do own one of their watches, a black dial mechanical chronograph, AC11 I think?

Going to an interview request also a dressing etiquette ! Going to a gentleman’s house and wearing like a teenager with sport shoes, jeans and ridiculous shirt!

To me Jacob & Co focus too much on their gimmick watches. What tf was that Tyson Fury watch they just released!? You can tell the new designs are influenced by these guys who have a marketing backgrounds and no design/watchmaking experience. Huge mistake in the long term with these cringe Bugatti and Godfather collections etc.

Something important in the jewelry and watch industry is defining a niche. Jacob and Co aren’t going to out prestige patek nor out brand Rolex, so they chose to take a more creative art approach.
