1st round talent. No shade on Boyd. Loved him but Burton was legit considered a first round talent. It was his “character concerns” as to why he fell. Cinci could potentially have 3 number 1 WRs for this season.

Love to see Housh genuinely excited about Burton.
I love his excitement! We got another star!
This is the most I’ve heard Burton talk since he’s been here. Thanks TJ you have home smiling and very comfortable talking because of what you mean to him!!!

Hey Jermaine, welcome to Cincinnati. Bengals have a great locker room culture that will cultivate you. May this be the best years of your life fam. My girl and I are definitely gonna watch you against the Steelers at home. Go Bengals.
willing to listen and take responsibility to change..rooting 4 this kid ❤❤
What a great interview. This has me super optimistic about this young man. I wish him & the Bengals all the success. 🧡🖤
Cant wait to see what he does this season. Very excited
He’s gonna be amazing dudes legit
Can’t wait to see this guy play! 🔥🔥 he’s hungry
TJ was my favorite guy inside and out a wonderful man. Nothing but the best for you Jermaine and I will be there with the rest of Bengals Nation to cheer you on 🖤🧡
This might be one of my favorite interviews of all time. Burton can become another one of the great bengals wide receivers.
This interview is absolutely AWESOMEIm so glad we have both of THEM
Kids gonna be special. Cant wait to see him on gamedays. This coaching staff is gonna find so many ways to attack defenses with this loaded WR corps!
You are a great interviewer, Dan. Your ability to listen and to allow your guests to just talk indefinitely to get their views across is so nice to see. This is prolly my favorite interview ever. TJ and Jermaine are such engaging men and incredibly chatty. I love how Jermaine is self reflective and self aware. My gut is telling me that we're about to have an amazing season

I can't wait to see Jermaine in Cincy! Who dey!!! Love to have you, bro!!!
Glad to give this video a thumbs up. This is great watching for the ❤ of every 🐯 fan. Who dey!
Always loved TJ and even more now...authentically connecting and being honest with the younger generation is what being an elder is all about. Refreshing to see a young man accepting of that role too!
This just speaks to the culture in Cincinnati, these guys are super tight and like family.
Love that Housh is still a part of the Bengals organization !!
If perception is reality, then I can change my reality by working on the way I'm perceived. I like that.
This was best interview since Anthony-Orlando Brown Jr. Keep up this format what a great segment

great interview
Jermaine evidently can take criticism, and then importantly, change his behavior! Now, who said he had maturity issues? Just like most people, Jermaine can take it if you're respectful and straight up giving him truthful feedback. TJ Housh knows how to deliever the truth without offending. It's a nack! So glad that Jermaine is on the Bengals team; he's going to be a phenomenon! Jermaine has a chance to change everything for his mom and sister; go get it guy! Who Dey!
What a great interview! Letting the men just speak they mind. Dan is a wizard.
When's the last time a WR3 won OROY? Feels like Maine is about to TORCH the slots this year
Love this interview
Burton SZN!!!!
Does anyone else feel like he's the next chris Henry on the field. Rip slim
I have always loved Housh! He is awesome. If he says Germaine is good, I’ll believe it
Honestly, TJ has to be in the top 5 toughest receivers in N.F.L history. Up there with anquan boldin...
This was such a refreshing interview.Put a smile on my face.So cool to see Bengals alum involved with todays roster.I gotta good feeling about Maine and I think he’s going to add a big spark to an already explosive WR group.WHO-DEY!
When Jermaine first got to Bama I was like, why, and didnt really care much! By the time his last season at Bama came around he was one of my favorites!! I love his his tenacity and effort!! Yeah, he talks it up, but he fires his teammates up!! As far as I'm concerned he will always have my Bama love!! I will be checking on him every Sunday!!! ROLL TIDE BAMA NATION FOR JERMAINE!!!
So excited for this season! Another great interview, Dan! This WR corps is ridiculously stacked!
To all the bengals beat writers and podcasts this is how you go about addressing the elephant 🐘 in the room... not talking abiut the player on your show and throwing more dirt in a muddy situation... actually have an interview and treat the player as a person and ask the tough questions but also recall just because a camera caught some of his unavailable moments just remember you have made mistakes a plenty u just have had them on display on social media or in camera...
He’s got that fire
How awesome is TJ
I’m so excited about this season and this kid!
I got a feeling Burton is going to step up early and often, and after a few seasons bro going to fill that fire role that Mixon filled when he was here. Super excited for the future
Very good podcast! Who-Dey!
I have a really good feeling about this season WHO DEY !
Welcome to the Jungle Jermaine! God loves you and so does Cincy! WHO DEY!!!!!??? 🧡
Star in the making I can feel it 🔥
That was an really good interview
Teams don't realize how they can ruin a young mans future when they leak out to their media friends about his character flaws. They don't realize young people can change. Happy this kid is here.
Yeah i think Bengals are unstoppable offensive talent is off the charts .
Bengals can make WR's a star, no matter what round
This dude is nice. Im so ready to see him dominate
JB-2 you will take us to the Super Bowl just be you on that football field Bengal nation welcome you who-dey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love JB83, this might just be the strongest air raid offence oat if cards play out
Gotta get a Burton jersey asap
Go light it up Maine!!
College receivers are better coming out of college because their coaches are more passing oriented these days. There are also more "Joe Burrows" and "Ja'maar Chase's" on the playgrounds as opposed to "Joe Mixon's" these days. Always great to see and hear from TJ.
Can't wait to see you play Maine.. I love the podcast..
Loved this video! Only thing I'll say is.. When you think of the Bengals, it USED to be your first thought is Ocho. But nowadays, you think of Joe Burrow.

Burton couldn’t have chosen a better mentor than TJ. His advice for on and off the field conduct is next to none. Burton also seems to have a good head on his shoulders; the skill was never an issue, but its nice to hear him actively trying to prove the ‘character’ narrative wrong.
Hooooouuuuushhhh
..sounds like its on like DK, and TJ sellin this dude like that. Feel like Duke, Zac and Co just stole another one lol 😂 If Joe can get 2.5 back there..i just dont see how anyone wi be able to cover this team, and not just bc of this guy. Burton is in a situation that is similar to winning the lottery. He has no pressure as “the guy” due to Chase and Higgins as well as a QB that can get you right. It’s similar to creating a walking path in the woods by walking down the weeds. The path is wide open and make the journey that much easier.

When the guy who coached him for the last 2years - Nick Saban, says right after the Bengals picked him, mentions character and maturity issues with him, I don't think that's just a "perception" issue. Hopefully, he has learned a lesson, because in the NFL taunting penalties come quick and easy. Hell, they will flag you for just talking some smack. I've watched Burton's highlight videos, and after almost every catch he tries to get in the defenser's face or show some aggressive actions. I have high hopes for the kid like every other Bengals fan, let's just hope he keeps his emotions in check and actually becomes a PRO. Just being drafted into the NFL doesn't automatically mature him or get rid of his college traits.

Our OFFENSE will chill him. 🧡🖤🐯🎉 We don't need to be penalized extra yards. JOE BURROW will NOT tolerate any of that disrespect. College Ball is College Ball. NFL are PROs ✝️☮️💜🎉 Cincinnati respects ALL teams. Look at Damar Hamlin #3 💙❤️🏈🎉.....We were 💔😭💔 when that happened to him, his Family, and his Team / Fans. BENGALS are a CLASS ACT TEAM. 🧡🖤🐯🎉

I think Boyd was the best clutch player ever for the Bengals.
Joe Burrow is always even keeled 😉
Damn, Who'sYoMama sure has aged well. Looks young enough to still play.
#WHODEY4LIFE @TJ you should be invited to be ruler of the jungle for a game soon, and brought in to be wideouts coach… imo
You didn't slip you went where you were supposed to go and ended up with Ja'marr and Joe after all, this time in the Pros
WHO DEY!
I wasn’t sure about Jermaine based on some of the noise around him, but based on his demeanor here, I think he’s grown from that and knows he did some bonehead things
Knowing the playbook that well already will be why Jones and Irwin lose this camp battle
I will be looking for the name Jermaine Burton on the police blotter within 2 years. There was a reason he fell in the draft.
How come he's not wearing 3? 🤔😪
Maine could be the main man before you know it

hopefully he continues to mature and grow character-wise. watched his response to what he did to that girl (smacking her in the head), and i heard a lot of excuses with minimal remorse for anyone other than himself. honestly wish the best for him. but i doubt EMILY ISAACS will forget that incident as easily as he has.

@@digitalsalsas, I'm quite certain that TJ has walked him through that and made him realize just how badly he messed up, TJ don't play with all that, and I'm sure more than once he reminded him about all he lost, reputation wise, monetarily and potentially his freedom from acting like he did, TJ has daughters and has a short fuse about stuff like that, so if he says he's convinced that the kid has turned a corner and has contrition, then I'm takin that as bond....Not that he can't be hidin different feelings about all of it, but that's how people grow, through good experiences and bad....I think that it would be WAY different were he and the girl to meet today as opposed to then, and until it happens we'll never know, and shy of him giving her money what can he do to change it now, because a press conference and a true public apology would still seem fake even today....Perhaps they meet one day and they can get past it, I know it had to have one hell of an effect on the girl to have been done like that for basically doing her job, though I'm not fully familiar with the entire thing, so perhaps they both have some soul searching and admittance of havin a part to play in how it all happened....Who knows for certain... .

Wrong. I guess you're forgetting the 2 gun related incidents last year. Mixon kept to the straight and narrow up until last year. I'm not convicting him in the public sphere, but hanging around people like his sister's gangster BF and waving a gun at people on the road doesn't bode well for Mixon's character. He's nothing like Pac Man, but to hold him up like some kind of role model ain't right either.

@@Iowrider714 idk nothing about all that but the point of the matter is that they both did something wrong in college that effected their draft stock. mixon got through it pretty well why wouldn’t mixon be a good role model if he was still on this team???
