Mark Freeman, the 2022-23 OVC Men's Basketball player of the year and the 2023-24 Preseason Player of the Year in the OVC announced he is transferring to James Madison to use his final year of eligibility.
The highly recruited transfer guard began his collegiate career at Tennessee State before transferring to Illinois State but Freeman flourished once he got to Morehead State with Preston Spradlin.
This offseason, Spradlin was hired by JMU and Freeman will follow his head coach to Harrisonburg, VA.
We caught up with Mark Freeman for an exclusive interview to talk about his decision and what he expects out this newly created roster.
