he should have offered him if he has not, i don't like when people eat without sharing.
This is not only the culture but also a Islamic tradition to do the ikram and offer the best food to the guest. Sehaba would stay hungry but they would feed the best available food to the guests. You have to adopt and act on the practices of people at early times of Islam of Medina and Mekkah and then as a leader you can offer that path. You have to set the example first.

There was a gap in between that scene and the scene where he’s eating, that’s a clear cut in the editing, who’s too say he didn’t offer the guest some food then, ofc he would of even the poorest of desi households offer there guests at least chai pani, we can’t assume.
