In 2009, Swedish metal core and melodic death metal band Amaranthe releases their first EP “Leave Everything Behind" and the first metal band to feature 3- lead vocalists, beginning with a young 24-year old singer out of Värnamo, Elize Ryd. Since then the band has put out consistent charting albums on the Swedish and Finnish charts, including several Top 10s on the US charts. In 2020 after a move to Nuclear Blast Records the band fires on all cylanders with “Manifest” their debut with the new label. We sat down with Elize just before the release of “Manifest” to talk about The switch to the new label and all things Amaranthe. This is an exclusive interview with Elize Ryd of Amaranthe.
