Because his policies are rotten, he has boisterous claims which will not better the Netherlands, their entire ´vision´ is summed up in one page and not one page longer than that - which is idiotic to say the least. Leading a country is complex.

It is rather hard to answer seeing that they do not expound on what they want, but the banning of books for example. If you ban books, you are nothing short of a totalitarian regime. Besides that; they have voted (the PVV as a party) against EVERY motion put forward to minimize the cost of those who are renting, yet they claim they want to "lower rent"? Evidently hypocritical to say the least, almost deceitful. This in essence shows how the PVV works; a lot of boisterous posturing, a lot of beating on their chest and yelling they are going to make "the Netherlands great again" without a shred of evidence, not a shred of reasoning, nothing at all.

The only one Who can help us is the Lord, so I suggest you ask Him for the conversion of poor Muslims and the return of the poor Dutch nation to the one true Faith. Amazing how some people don't get it: the reasons he got to be more popular are not going away, just getting worse. So whatever the Dutch system is, this trend will crack it. Now, or in 2, 4 or 6 years. There's not way out of these problems because the existing power is hiding from them rather than addressing them

We need more politicians like this man in the world

I wish Geert and the Dutch people best wishes for your future, I really hope you get your country back. I voted to leave the EU, even though my business relies on a lot of EU customers, and travel. There's a whole world out there and I don't mind a little extra paperwork.

In the Netherlands there are a lot of small parties and nobody wins more then 30% of the seats in parlement. All cabinets are based on coalitions where all parties need to compromise. Nearly all people who vote for another party than Geert Wilders' party don't want him to become the prime minister. So he might get 30% of the votes but it would be very weird to assume that he would have to be prime minister if 70% of the country don't want that.

Sereously how stupid can people get? the Netherlands leaving the EU is the dimbest thing they could possibly do. All of the Netherlands main trading partners are in the EU, the Netherlands is the second largest agricultural exporter in the world. When do people start learning, that not everything bad about the country is the EUs dault? There were Morrocans in the Netherlands before the migrant crisis began. A referendum based democracy only works if people are educated and understand how their government and international institiutions work. And it is abundently clear that most people don't.

Wilders has no idea what he is talking about. PVV is a populistic party, which means they promise a lot which the people think they want. Tbh, most people have no idea what's going on in the world, and a lot just blindly vote for Wilders. Luckilly enough, The Netherlands is a highly educated country, which realises what they are voting for. Most people won't vote for PVV anyway, as they realise it's a wasted vote. If Wilders becomes the Prime-minister, it's just a matter of time until the next election as no significant party wants to rule with PVV.

Even though the parliamentary system will keep him out of office, I believe that he will get the largest number of seats in this weeks election, and I really look forward to seeing how that shakes things up for The Netherlands. I've been following this guy for many years now. Members of my Dutch family a long time ago said that he would be Prime Minister someday, and it would be awesome to see them validated in that claim. Also, sadly, because of that hair, he will inevitably be compared to Donald Trump.
