Benfica are renowned for developing incredibly technical but also intelligent players. Watch Bernardo Silva interview, the mentality is the same. They are developed into winners with a very focused mindset.

Same with Bernardo Silva, Benfica develop their players physically technically but also very clear to see above all, mentally

he won the award but recognized it was a team effort that gave him that win. love that about him.

Deserved, changed City's defence completely and raised them from a Top 4 team at the beginning of the season to a title winning team at the end

Very humble but confident. Always talking about the team, even when asked about Pep he speaks about the whole staff team and even the players absolute gem of a player. He inspires me to be a better player

He transformed man city season man this guy has been a good signing for them really adapted well in the premier league on his first season now he’s a carabo cup winner a premier league winner and hopefully will be a champions league winner.

His vocabulary is great .

He and Bruno (of course many other examples too but) goes on to show that it's not always about signing the big name players, scouting well and making the right investments can get you great returns. Two Portuguese lads playing in the Portuguese league, not so well-known, comes into the two Mancunian clubs and changes the whole scenario. While you can say that City were already great but with Ruben's introduction one cannot deny how solid City have become. He clearly looks like a solid candidate to fill in Kompany's shoes.

2 years ago, my coworkes asked me - a Benfica fan living abroad - my opinion on Joao Felix and if he was worth the money Atletico eventually paid for him. My answer was "He is a great talent with amazing potential, but we have a someone who's better than him". That was the first time they've heard about Ruben Dias and 2 years later he's one of the best CB in the world with a lot of room to improve.

He’s a good defender, but not exactly as impactful as a Van Dijk or even Maguire. City have only conceded 3 less goals than they did last season. Ederson still won the gold glove too. I see flaws in his game, especially in that Dortmund match up. People wanna say oh but City are now in the UCL final, when they should have been last year if Pep didn’t choke against an underwhelming Lyon side.
