Hotel Cocaine is the story of Roman Compte (“Danny Pino”), a Cuban exile who was imprisoned in Cuba and is now general manager of the Mutiny Hotel in Miami, the glamorous epicenter of the cocaine scene in Miami in the late 70s and early 80's.
The Mutiny Hotel, a one-of-a-kind luxurious nightclub, restaurant, and hotel, is frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international drug traffickers, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars, and musicians. In the middle of it all is Roman Compte, who is doing everything possible to keep things running smoothly and fulfill his own American Dream, that is until he is forced to spy on his brother, Nestor Cabal, one of the biggest cocaine dealers in Miami.
