Such an awesome interview! Can't wait for this device, they seem to have made all the exact same tradeoffs I would have (and many more intelligent ones I hadn't even thought of I'm sure), so this seems poised to dramatically improve my workflow. I was going to get a 16 inch laptop but instead I'm opting for a 13 inch for the first time in a decade because I'm that hopeful that this will be a sufficient replacement.

I hope so too. I'm not convinced, and it's about the weight. 200 gram glasses that are mostly supported by the bridge of my nose doesn't sound comfortable. Try putting on a pair of glasses, then place a large-screened phone on top of the glasses - that's the kind of weight we're talking about. I use 80 gram display glasses (Xreal Air), and I can't imagine something over twice that weight being comfortable for long-term usage. Maybe the alternative headstrap that Renji alluded to will take enough of the weight off the nose to make it comfortable.

This company after it Ipos will be bought out for their IP and resources. The team is next level thinking outside the box . Small enough to be the trojan horse to win us all over once and for all. Will be watching this company closely. I know a winner when I see one and this company is a winner. Here is an example ... I bought Nvdia and Amd when they were under 14 dollars and 55 dolllars for Nvdia. I'm still holding today. This company will scale fast. I' ve given you all a headsup..Keep a close eye on this team. Couple of questions. 1) Is it gonna have some glare effect or any other visual issues? 2) Any chance to connect it to PS5? 3) I understood that it is going to work with 3-5 virtual monitors, but can I just use it as one big screen and connect to my PC and just play on the big screen my PC games?

It will have pancake lenses so it should be very good at 4k. Ps5 will have to be a trial sort of thing. The eco system will not be locked down, allowing people to code for it and set it up on all sorts of things. Including SteamVR. Ps5? .. not sure. Thats a big task..

I believe in immersed amd think it would work well with the right headset.

because its still under NDA with some of component manufactures. There is a lot at play here, give it a couple months and you will start to see more of this HMD in the wild. 😉
