charles carl where I come from, kids wrestle competitively in school. Bar fights are finished much easier for a wrestler than a pugilist. Pugilists leave their legs exposed, the wrestlers shoot and just merc them on the ground. Boxing is a VERY limited set of rules, and the way it is fought in competition is not applicable for weak people or women in self defense situations.

Loved this fight. Glad to see Connor was humble afterwards and congrats to mayweather! Can’t wait to see Connor back in the octagon

Thus is Connors first boxing fight, he lasted 10 rounds with someone that's 50-0. When he fights anyone in the ufc he wins. Boxing is a mindful sport where you look for opportunities, mayweather is the best in the world for stopping opportunities and pouncing when opponent gets winded. It's like being a checkers champion, then playing one match against the world's best chess player. At the end of the day, Connor won 4/9 rounds against the world's best.

To both the people mocking Conor, and the people saying he could have won if the ref didn't call it: STOP. It was a great event. Conor stepped into a new sport and lasted 10 rounds against one of the greatest ever, and Floyd showed an immense amount of skill. Both fighters can hold their heads high. I swear combat sports fans are always the saltiest, on both sides.

The last time Floyd TKO somebody was the year 2006. Floyd hasn't fought in two years. When it comes down to it Conor didn't do that good of a job at all.

It's like telling a powerlifter to do a strongman competition man. The two guys eat a shit ton and lift weights, but the two sports are completely different. This was McGregor's first ever professional boxing match and he went up against a guy who's been running the game for the past 2-3 decades😂😂😂

I like him. He said in this interview it ended to early. Yet, right after the fight in the ring he said he was dead. Can't keep switching your mind because of ego. He did get beat and I'm glad it was stopped so no permanent damage could occur. He was going down. He did great with not having any experience.

Some people know how to take advantage of the position there in and take it to unbelievable heights, for example all the shit he talked we loved and admired it's such a gift and to do it looking like a boss and wanting to hear more and more but anybody with a brain knows it's all business but we enjoy every second of it, humble in loss but the knowledge and what he learned from boxing the drive of a mega fight for the body mind and soul to embrace, that's the real win here. And of course the check is good and a fuckin huge one at that xD keep being yourself Connor your an icon in your own way much respect and love to you and your family be safe and be strong 💪

So according to this interview he's better than Pac Man ! Amazing.

So glad this is over. Mayweather showed who the superior boxer is, as we all knew. McGregor lasted longer than any boxing fan thought he would, good for him. Now let's get back to the important stuff.

xkoaxian i dont think the fight was rigged but I think the drama before it was. I think you are correct about the arrangement but I think Floyd could have ended the fight a lot earlier. He was playing with Connor to make it more of a legit win because Connor is a novice.

Nice Interview

Floyd’s skill was making Coner fall for his trap and gas out by exerting all his energy. With very minimal effort needed by Floyd or risking getting caught by anything significant. He knew Coner gasses out in MMA fights, he knew a 5 round MMA fight is 25 minutes long, so he waited for the equivalent of that in a boxing match 8 rounds is 24 minutes, and then he went to work and made it look simple. So when Coner is saying Floyd didn’t impress him with his skill, he’s neglecting to realize he was being out skilled since the first press conference 4 months before they even fought lol.
