Does the turbo button have to be held on?

Yes, even if trigger lock is on you must press and hold the turbo button down. Thanks for the question and keep watching!

How heavy is this unit? It seems a little heavy.

Weight is about 5 1/2lbs, and this will increase a little depending on the size of battery. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you for the great review, I was surprised at the difference in power between the 4ah & 9ah batteries .. Was the 6ah power as much as the 9ah or did it fall in the middle of the 4ah & 9ah ? Thx

Great point-6ah works great and does not show a noticeable difference between the larger batteries and gives you a longer run time.

I'm really surprised that the bigger batteries seem to provide more power.

It's because the 9Ah battery is also an HP battery and it's being used on an HP tool. The 4Ah battery is not HP, just the basic battery type. If the comparison was between two HP batteries or two standard batteries, there would not be a difference other than run time.

You are correct, I was just trying to show that there is a difference. I should have stated that I was using a standard battery and a HP. Thank you so much for your comment! @@jvanny

How much run time with a 6ah battery on normal vs. turbo mode?

  • @mr.berdis

On a fully charged 6ah HP battery I get 45 minutes on normal/turbo (not using turbo full time) as for on turbo I have not run this unit full time on turbo. That would be a great test and I will do this and see the difference in run time.

6ah apeed go's down after 25% used. Then sounds same as 4ah. Please confirm, maybe my battery bad.

Good day to you, Mr.Berdis. i have a question i hope you can answer. 6 months ago i bought a 40v whisper series ryobi leaf blower. I loved it $180 on sale. Last month i thought I'd try it out on my snow covered stairs, 1/2" powdered snow. While using, a cloud of snow dust came into contact with my blower and immediately stopped. Hasn't worked since. The battery seems fine for as i charge it, all lights come on while charging and indicates the battery is charged. Have you ever heard of something like this? Id appreciate any feedback. I hope its not dead, its brand new. Just subbed you, thanks for your channel.
