Yeah, exactly. I went to a concert and couldn't believe how great he sounded live. He worked so hard to dance and still sing beautifully... people don't realize what we have. At least with awake he proved himself in front of the haters and the ones that belittle his importance. ^^

JUNGKOOK and JHOPE stands out so strong. Their dances and vocal stability is beyond amazing!!!!!!!

Dara Lee I just found out about them. They are INCREDIBLE. I've seen videos where they are singing live, like this one, and they have tremendous talent. With that being said, I know recorded music and they did lip sing their AMA performance but who cares, dancing like that I would have done the same thing for my US tv debut.

Max Carr korean live performances use MR. It’s not entirely instrumental live but the highlighted lines are recorded, just for them to take a lil break for breathing, and to put echo and emphasis on specific lines :) they did sang live in AMAs, but the audio was louder than their stage mics. So I think that made it look lipsynced. I hope you watch more performances of them! They’re really amazing :)

He wasn't off key, he had a slight echo/bounce back on his mic when he first sang and they sorted it - his mic was a touch loud for Mic Drop, too. Edit: I found who had their mic touching their face that made some extra noise in the movements- it was JK, so it's his breathing which is the loudest at the end.

And let's not forget Tae is a baritone singing with a three tenors 😊 as being a baritone and having to sing in the same exact range as a tenor puts V at a clear disadvantage. But he still pulling it ☺

Jimin is absolutely extraordinary on stage, he somehow always changes up his moves, the way he dances is different and eye catching and he just knows how to work it out with his expressions and vocals, he looks and sounds incredible! Naturally born with an amazing aura ❤️

How does the camera man understand this song better than those "professionals" at the AMAs? Not to mention BTS hardly had time to rehearse here and they still managed to capture some important moments like Jimin's cute close up at @2:02 whereas in the AMAs they completely missed it. The vocals and the raps slayed so hard in this performance. Jimin and Jk sounded exactly like how they would in the studio version but LIVE. The stage is not big enough for Tae's voice tho lol. Jin my baby can you be more handsome? and the rap line just own in whatever they do. Stellar performance.

jtx so luckyy 😭😭 they rarely perform in canada but when they do I have to take the plane to vancouver or go on a 3 or 4 hour drive to edmonton but their tickets get sold out so quickly

JK's little mistake at the end going behind Hobi like the original formation & then realizing they weren't doing the line, ending up smiling so brightly is the CUTEST THING EVER!! Oh and Jimin's smile when the ARMYs were ALL doing the hand+arm movement with him is just so... warm! It's so precious! That's love y'all!! Ah BTS, you just keep making us ARMYs prouder & prouder each new day... I hope we can always make you proud aswell! :)

This and the Mic drop performance are proof they don't lip sync. You can clearly hear their voices over the backtrack. AMA's fucked up the audio or had the backtrack too loud which is why it seemed like they lip synced there.
