    It's a training method used to increase reflexes and hand eye coordination. It's also done by Shawn Porter and his dad. Kenny throws the cards at Shawn in the air and he has to know what card it is before it hits the ground. Although their methods may differ the objective is the same.

    Based on his size and the look of these gloves, I would guess they are at least 14oz if not 16oz. Also since he is banging away on the heavy bag, most fighters will go with these sizes for padding. With mitts, sparring or fighting, he'd likely use 10oz or 12oz. Hope this helps.

    even though Vasyl is a great prospect, maybe the greatest prospects in profesional boxing in the last decade...The pro game is different, and I fear that maybe Salido has too much ticks in his bag for Vasyl. I hope to be terribly wrong and that Vasyl makes boxing history this march.

    That is true, i was there. It was no way he could win that fight with that strategy. He could finish Salido in first few rounds by just rush ahead with all his might, but instead they decide to wait till the end and than do the show. Well, looks like Salido's luck was bigger than Vasil's experience. :)

    I would think that over 400 fights, 2 Olympic gold medals and 3 World Amateur Championships should prove that he is extremely qualified to box anyone on the planet in his weight division.

  • @Callejeromoments

    @Callejeromoments

    There have been many fighters who were over qualified amateur fighters but all of them turned professional and fought from the ground up. These fighters ranked themselves all the way up from the bottom facing them all. No fighter should be allowed to fight anyone in the top division unless he or she has earned it in the (professional) ring not the (amateur) ring no matter his or her experience.

  • @MrIFARI

    @MrIFARI

    Maybe so, but none of them had a record with as many fights, wins, and/or World Amateur and Olympic Championships, like Lomachenko; or had a promoter like Bob Arum. Lomachenko has all the above! Plus, he *tied* the record for the quickest ascent to winning a world championship.....So what he has done is not unprecedented.
