It brought a smile to my face when you spoke of other musicians who are equally interested in you (K.D.) and your creative persona. Heavy Metal is a genre that remains attractive because it isn't mainstream and does have shock attributes that no other musical styles have. I have every King Diamond CD. I can't say that of any other band. It doesn't surprise me that you're (K.D.) discovering an equally unique and ever-expansive fanbase. So it's fair to hypothesize that the technological forces of the Internet have managed not only to preserve but also to share music. People still need to apply time to their curiosity but accessing particularly unique musicianship, as in King Diamonds' case, has become more intuitive so a greater opportunity arises to capture something noteworthy. TIME TO CHIME K.D.

Lo que dice respecto a que los albumen en los 90 comenzaban a ser innecesariamente complejos y artificiales en los 90 me hace mucho sentido. Cuando lanzaron Dead Again me costó mucho asimilarlo, no soy muy fanático de ese álbum y siempre me dejó la sensación de ser un compendio de ideas unidas artificialmente, no lo sentía orgánico, a parte de que se notaba mucho a influencia más moderna en los riff, con el auge del nu metal muchas bandas intentaron subirse a ese carro al final de los 90 principios del 2000, el calsico riff heavy de toda la vida, con palm mutting y tiempos bastante mecanizados daba paso a un estilo con más groove y todas las bandas bebieron de eso, para luego tener todas una "vuelta a los orígenes", eran tiempos raros los 90.
