5 families moved in my street in last 6 weeks dumping rubbish bags on paths , clothes hanging on handrails drying and gardens 10ft tall they dont give a shit about where they live , im unlucky enough to live next door to 1 family cant speak a work of english i reported them to council last week for the state they have the place... this street has always had nice tenants nice gardens etc and these bunch of animals land its so annoying.

I can't believe that citizens of a modern country like the UK is treating it's citizens like this, it's absolutely disgusting.

some years ago i complained at the Woolwich housing office that every time there was a new influx of illegal immigrants i went backwards down the housing list. I was told that their need was greater than mine . The person working at the desk then pulled down the shutter at her window and refused to deal with me stating i was a racist and had me ejected from the office by a black security guard

I paid taxes, i worked a full time job, after i had an accident everything went off. Sick pay 400£/month is barely enough to cover food transport. Luckily i have a friend that keeps me rent free. Otherwise i would stay crippled on the street. Amazing life. Thank you uk and thank you all 4 councils that passed me around and refused any option. I wanted a bed. No even a full room. Just to sleep.

Yup went through that myself been on the streets. Been in my current place for like 6 years or so now, i told them then we needed cameras in the communal area as people were booting through the security door using it as a walk through (not allowed) and also little druggies and homeless have slept in the hall way. Bare in mind that door bangs the wall and the noise straight down in to my bedroom. I have a huge chunk missing from my doorframe that was replaved due to a police raid before i moved in, i had no heating till last feb then by the end of march it was up the creek again as it blew my water heater. The latest was 1 of the kids out the back pulling the fire alarm, 4 hour plus of a headache. We also have some arse that has glued the front door lock with superglue, and the back one has been replaced 4 times. I am so glad the new place i am moving to is tucked away and quiet so is good. Also that is a good friend you have for sure i have helped 4 as they have helped me before and since and continue to do so, though 2 get more than me they can't budget for nothing but i always have pennies for a just incase so they can grab 20 quid here or there if they screw up.😅

For years your government is inviting immigrants. The reasons being: 1. Your local people are not willing to work and quite happy to live on benefits. Shortage of workers forcing your government to employ immigrants paying less than minimum wage. 2. Shortage of skilled labour. Will you employ immigrants if your youngsters worked hard to qualify to do the jobs immigrants are doing. 3. The overseas students pay huge amount of fees, as some of them come from rich families to study in Britain. Without Indian and Chinese students, half of your universities will close down and the teachers will lose their jobs. 4. Immigrants entering the country illegally are not sent back to their respective countries. Your government is too soft on them. Now the problem of immigration has gone out of control. Don't blame the immigrants blame your system. FYI. India's moon mission was not conducted using aid money from Britain. A responsible person like Patrick should have found out the facts about foreign aid before incitiing the local people for whom BBC is second Bible and whatever is said by BBC is correct.

IF these containers were within a flora and fauna area (albeit small and condensed) well planned and organized in a tidy neat setting with all the necessities - besides being looked after and tended by the tenants - shipping containers could become home to many 'arty and crafty' types of people who would enjoy them. The problem is that society nowadays has too many druggies, litter-bugs, and drop outs all with public money in their pockets.

At this point everyone should travel to France, throw away their identity documents, get on a boat back to UK, claim whatever you like and get free anything. Would be better off.

Tbh i work amongst similar types of setups as a plumber and the people are generally horrific, rude, demanding, they break fucking everything, a kitchen will last less than a year, all the doors will be hanging off, the worktops will be damaged, and then theyll demand thay its all fixed. Its a constant moral struggle for me to sympathise with these people. There are exceptions of course but sadly 90% are not good people.

Okay I get they are at a disadvantage financially but of the people I'm talking about and have real world experience with they don't want to even try to help themselves, they've got virtually no people skills, they can't be told anything and when they do they don't listen. At some point you have to accept that there's really no amount of giving or caring that's going to change the projection of that person's life, as sad as it is to say.

The issues with drugs and prostitution is happening all over. There are flats in many towns in the home counties. Where drug dealers and users break the security doors or fire escapes so they can pretty much live in the staircases, broom cupboards and bin sheds. I've seen it first hand, some of the places have security, but it still carries on. These problems are so bad now, some different ideas need to be tried out. These people need somewhere to go, set up a place for them where they're not affecting the general public, and where support is available. We're talking about people who can't run their lives, can't hold down jobs or accommodation, many will never recover. Can't just keep moving them on or giving out 3 month jail terms, it doesn't work, possibly just makes things worse. One simple thing that would help is stop selling "FB" or fire brigade keys in hardware stores. These keys get you into many of the flats, bin sheds etc.

Priorities, we are not a priority.
