20th anniversary for a park that hasn’t even opened sends chills down my spine…

Hearing Tyler’s monologue about how much he loves the Universal parks reminds me why I subscribed to you guys. I grew up in south Florida so I’ve been going to all the Orlando theme parks for over 20 years and Universal has given me the best memories, so to see your genuine love for the parks and everything they have to offer brings me so much joy because it’s exactly how I feel about them. The history, the growth, the atmosphere- it truly is the happiest place on earth and I’m so thankful you guys share all your tips and general fun 🩵

I miss some of the classic attractions like jaws and kongfrontation. Not that I have a huge affinity for those movies, but the experience they provided. They used movie sets, practical effects, and even live actors on the ride. It truly made you feel like you were in the scene of a movie instead of watching it on a screen. I still enjoy universal, but this was the true magic of the park that is now lost.

@@metallicnole4514 yeah I loved Jaws, and I remember being a bit scared of twister and earthquake when I was a kid 😂 but I feel like I would have appreciated them more now as my love for film grew. I wish they would lean into those types of attractions more instead of just a screen experience. Some changes have been great, but others (FF) not so much.

@@cloismagic Jaws was awesome. I know it was a maintenance nightmare. But it was a truly special attraction. The boathouse scene was the one of the scariest things on a ride I've been on as a kid. I wish they still had attractions like this. It was truly immersive

Tripleta is a Puerto rican famous“Street food” is a Sandwich with 3 Different meats,Patoto sticks,Mayoketchup,Mayo,Cheese,hot sauce,Lettuce & Tomatos 🫶🏼 They just switch bread for crepes .

Time certainly does fly ! We came to Universal from the UK for our Honeymoon 25yrs ago when IOA was shiny and new , I genuinely didn’t realise until recently that we were there on opening year lol 🙂. Goodness I feel old 😂😂

I'm planning a trip to Universal in June and recently discovered your channel. My excitement increases exponentially each time I watch a video. I now feel like most of my trip is going to be more focused on trying all the delicious food than the rides 😂

I was just there, and in all honesty, as much as I would rather have the 3d rides, my gf and i both agreed that this was better in regular 2d screen. But if they they dare to take away the 3d from spider man or transformers, I'll boycott.

You guys crack me up! Tripleta is pronounced “tree-play-tuh”, add a spanish accent and you got it. It is a very well-known Puerto Rican street food. Hope this helped, love your content! 🖤

Can’t wait to be there for the June Meet Up! Staying a couple extra days since school will be out. Upgraded to 3 park passes so also looking forward to Volcano Bay. We haven’t done that park for a couple of years.

Tyler is all in his feels in this vid. Lol. I totally get the feels for the anniversary though, we live near Kings Island in Ohio and we've been going there for years, even as kids with our families. The park celebrated it's 50th in 2022 and the wooden coaster The Beast celebrates 45 years this year itself, which is insane to think about. Totally getting the retro merch they came out with this year for rides The Beast and nostalgia rides they've replaced. All the emotions and memories tied up into these parks are hard to describe to those who don't go. Speaking of, when are y'all making a Cedar Fair parks run up here in Ohio, Kings Island and Cedar Point are close enough together for one trip. We'd love to have you!!! 🙂

I say it a lot but thank you guys for all your videos! I have two trips for the summer scheduled out and I will be taking my kids for their first time ever this December. All I ever wanted as a kid was to "Ride the Movies" and Disney was never my thing. I never got the chance when I was younger and I want to make sure I don't make the same mistake with my kids. I totally agree about how different the rides are when they take away the 3D. I agree with Anna, I don't like the Minion half as much as I did when it was 3D. The glasses are not my favorite thing, they normally hurt my nose, but I still like the rides better with them. They took the glasses away like the week after my last visit. I'm hopefully getting to come back the second week in May and not sure if I want to try it in hopes they bring it back and I will never know. LOL Thanks for a fun day!

Don't know if it makes a difference, but Prosecco is a sparkling wine from Italy, so not champagne. I think Prosecco would tend to be on the sweeter side and slightly less bubbly.

They’ve been doing much better! When the parks are busy they’ll still have a line of people waiting for a table when the restaurant gets full, but they move people through pretty quickly!

We have a amusement park here in ny state called the great escape and it's been going since 1954 when it originally opened as story town and then many years later changed the name to the great escape..so yes I love amusement park anniversaries too.

It was good!! Theme park BBQ sauce is always super generic, but it’d be delicious with a better sauce on it!

When you go to the top of the animal actors bleachers you can look over the railing to see some of the dream works land build and it looks really cool for kids (more splash zones:))

With modifications some good keto options, maybe lol.. but I am having a crepe!! we will be there next month and gonna try to stick to low carb ..

I was so hoping that the Brisket Crepe would be available in a few weeks time but it looks like that won’t be the case 😭😭 we are planning to try all the butter beers though and I anticipate the frozen to be superior though my husband and son figure it’ll be regular ( I question their taste buds) cannot WAIT

That’s so exciting! Holiday weekends are definitely a little busier than other weekends, but express is just a personal decision!

A potato wedge is a ⅛ to ¼ cut potato length wise. So those were definitely Fries...thick cut Fries.
