I absolutely love this game. It is probably my favorite racing game of all time. sad I never got to play online mode but I did beat almost everything and I say almost because there is a crystal level at the end which is insanely hard

I do still. I'm trying to have enough stars to buy all the bots to race with. It's too bad the Nintendo Wifi discontinued. If I played online, I would play lots of online matches to quickly increase the star rank.

Matt is one of the best reviewers, the best on Gamspot at least! Turtle, bat, and hummingbird look awesome. I'm getting this game pretty soon. Looks cool, especially on wifi. Can't wait!

This was a fantastic review - kudos for that. Would like to play this game in PAL sooo badly, I was really disappointed when I found out it had never come out over here!

The best racer most people never played

yea. the closest i got was a B in each race, but i still couldnt stop. cant wait to get it.

one question: In a online match, can you choose to not have the pie or bowling specials? I'd like to play a nice genuine racer :)

I went to Best Buy today, and saw Excitebots for $15 new. D'oh! I was crazy not to grab it, but I wanted something else (Boom Blox Bash Party). I'll be back tomorrow.

@TheIMorgan 2 possible reasons 1: excite truck flopped in europe and nintendo saw excitebots go the same way in europe 2:web features were hard to adapt or something else was too hard to create in an eu version. i hope nintendo has a good reason not to release it where i live

This kinda looks like Kamen Rider turned into a kart racer.

Anyone know a game similar to this? It was on ps2 and you have like a rollerblade suit and you would race each other with powerups and all that stuff.

u have a point there but their is ALOT of skill involed if ur hardcore at that game but ur forgetting about...timetrails trying to get WR records or top tens, players like me who are trying to do that are very competitive towards that XD this game is fun, but to bad there is no top 10 :(

SA1 and 2 were perfect though..

this game looks 100X better than mariokart
