You know what I think it is, only the middle part of the screen is a background while the top and bottom are just black, but parts of the visual move into the black parts and don’t just stay in the background, so it feels like it pops out at you

In person because of depth perception it won't look as good. And so i suggest you either wear an eye patch if you go to one of these, or that these events get hosted with like AR elements where you can use VR glasses to be there at the concert and then actually have it there.

Hard disagree on Skrillex. He wasn't bad, but his music just didn't hit me the same as Excision. It's all a matter of personal preference, I suppose. For me, Feed Me absolutely annihilates all competition, especially in regards to live performances. I don't expect everyone to agree with me on that, but there you go.

It really hasn’t. You must not actually listen to dubstep if you think 90% it sounds the same. There’s so many upcoming talented artists who are bringing something fresh to the table. And you know what? I could say the same about pop, rap, house, techno, rock etc. It all sounds the same as well. Because you know why? It’s a genre. It’s supposed to sound similar. People like you love to hate on dubstep but it’s obvious you only listen to the mainstream dubstep and have no clue about new artists. If it really bothers you that much maybe you should go cry about it.

@@CJ_222 lmao I have no idea about new artists? Brother I've been listening to this for almost 2 decades now. Sit the fuck down lmao. I've been upto date on every breakout artist in the scene for all these years and I can confidently say that dubstep has been watered down to mindless headbanger music that druggies listen to. A Hukae, Akeos or BAW can't really help the scene a lot when it's flooded with a shit ton of subsidia artists and people who just wanna play at lost lands. I could literally name hundreds of artists off the top of my head who makes the same formulaic quarter note briddim/riddim without any substance behind it, meanwhile only a handful of artists are making stuff that's actually inspiring. On another note lemme ask you this. Since you're so confident that I only listen to mainstream dubstep and you're so knowledgeable about the scene, have you ever listened to Punishment? Arguably the best artist at heavy dubstep but I'm almost certain you have never heard of him. So next time you accuse someone of not having enough knowledge about the scene, maybe do your own research lmao. I rest my case.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@evvun999yeah. I will agree that there is a TON of same-yness going on in the scene, and it does get super tiring. But is that really unique to dubstep? Every genre ever has this kind of issue where at the forefront, everybody's just doing the same thing. Besides, Excision is clearly more focused on his live sets/visuals than the production itself. That being said, I don't believe that the prevalence of big formulaic artists like Excision, Kompany, (arguably) Subtronics, etc. discounts the incredible people doing incredible heavy things. MUERTE, Marauda, Space Laces, Chime, Similar Outskirts (a more niche favorite of mine)... you have to acknowledge the ideas that these guys - and so many more - are making. It's easy to get jaded to slough through the slop to get to the stuff that you like. But the beauty of the situation is that you don't have to! Just listen to something else for a bit. Or at least that's what I do when dubstep gets boring.

Saw this show in Omaha. Will never forget it. EVER.
