I remember when this dropped. To this day, beat Shambala mix of Excision. Not even into all this music like that anymore, but the MEMORIES this brings back. Almost 10 years old now. Wow.

I remember driving to a house party with my friends 9 years ago and one of them put this on, the vibes were immaculate. I'll always return to this banger to relive that memory.

I'm just blown away at the amount of effort it would take to edit an hour and a half of music, beat perfect, with words ane effects. I'm sure a single song is involved, but this is a sure feat of endurance by the editor.

I remember the feeling of seeing Excision play live on tour the past few years and use this intro as his encore. made me wanna re watch this for the 1000th time

2013 was the apex of the age of dubstep. exponentially it fell from here. Today dubstep is no more than a footnote in electronic, superseded by much more evolved sounds and concepts. this was the year of the last hoorah of the dubstep golden age.
