Banda San Francisco de Malabon Grande (now known as Banda Matanda 1888), the first band to play to the Philippine National Anthem on June 12, 1898 first at the Parish of Saint Francis of Assisi in General Trías during the Consecration of the Morning Mass and in the afternoon at the house of Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit (Cavite el Viejo) during the Proclamation of Independence. The band was founded by Don Catalino Sison Arnaldo in 1888.
