I tried this, but it didn't work. I have prices, for instance. I have 7.19 and need the .19 to change to a .29. So as to make it 7.29. Any tips?

Lets say i have a list of 10 digit numbers, i want to change the first 4-digits into text and the rest deleted, what would be the formula to use? Can i use find and replace? I’d be thankful for your answer/solution.

Hello thanks for watching my video. I would first use the LEN function to keep the first 4 digits i would probably convert the list to TEXT first then Assuming the list starts in B2 =LEFT(B2,4) This keeps the first four digits or characters. hope that helps
