Dear Sir, I have specific problem regarding BOM, e.g. abcd-1, abcd-2, abcd-3. As it is having first word before"-" common. Require counting method before "-" character. And it should count as one. In the BOM there are different type of item are there. It can be bdfg-1, bdfg-2, and so on.

Is it possible for me to get a job in Mis without experience because whenever I checked linkedin or other job portal they mostly required experienced person. But in the field of mis I am fresher. Sir I have to fetch average of large 2 number out of 3 cell. But condition is student may get absent in one or two exam and thus out of 3 cell one or two or even 3 cell may be marked as "ab" for being absent. Aditi * means jo text nhi ho to number count krega na.

yes Aditi if any cell contains spaces are considered as text, so this formula is counting those cell as well.

Sir mera ek sawal hein Mujhe Saturday and Sunday count karna hein par, condition e hien ki, hamare pass sirf Star date hein , end date nahiiiii, par dono ka count ek sath karna hein Aap madat kar sakte hein
