After sailing with Royal I think it would be hard to change . There is nothing like the royal genie

Royal has some magnificent ships - no doubt! We have not sailed with them since before COVID. That new ICON class looks LIT!

This video keeps coming up in my suggestions and every time, for a split second, I think it is an Excel computer program tutorial!

That’s exactly what I though when I first heard about this class of ship. At the time, I had a very elaborate Excel sheet that kept track of our sales. No more Excel spreadsheets for me - but I’d GLADY take another cruise in this sheet. Ummmm, sorry SUITE! LOL!

We had this cabin in February (2022) for my birthday and fell in love with it! Now I’m hooked on it. Lol! We have it booked one more time on the MG and then twice on the Jubilee which will be at our home port of Galveston. Happy sailing!! 🛳️🙌🏽❤️🤗

I did extensive study on all the Aft Suites and this cabin number I believe is the cream of the 12-cabin crop. No cabin is perfect. But when you combine privacy, noise, sunlight, and occupancy this is "the cabin" to get.

excellent excellent vid - we will be in 9504 for the July 23 sailing this year - cannot wait! let me just say it pays to keep checking on availability -when i first booked back in 2019 we started with a front facing balcony, then moved to a front corner suite - was a bit apprehensive from what i had heard about wind at the front so kept checking for anything aft as we prefer that. lucked out and was able to snag an aft corner so pretty stoked!

It does pay to keep checking! With the economy the way it is, and this suites price point I would not be surprised to see availability. For you, the plus side is your deck is even larger than ours was. On the down side, it's right above Summer Landing and the two hot tubs by the Watering Hole. Not quite the "privacy" we had. BUT - that also means you're just one deck above the ice cream machines! Whooo Hoooo! BTW, they serve breakfast every morning, and lunch on sea days just below you as well. So, when you order room service and want some eggs, sausage or bacon it's a quick jaunt down to bring it back up to your own private dining area. We had breakfast and lunch on our balcony every single day.

@@justpictureitnow yeah idk that I would find Summer landing there being a negative mostly because I don't see me being in the room that often to start with - maybe if I had been on the ship 20 times already and didn't feel the need to explore but since this will be our first time on her I don't see it being an issue. And are the lower balconies really bigger than the upper ones? I figured they were just tiered out as opposed to actually being bigger

@@adjustableWench only deck 9 extends out a bit more over Summer Landing. There was another couple in your exact cabin that LOVED it. We picked our location due to our Anniversary. Let’s just say we spent a lot of time in our suite which was the main attraction for this particular sailing for us. We’ll do Excel Class again, no doubt. Carnival really upped their game with this new Class and it’s vastly different from the standard layout we’ve seen since Destiny. (now Sunshine) You will LOVE IT!!

Wench did you enjoy your room. We have 9504 too. Curious if you had any issues with noise at night from pig and anchor.

We had breakfast @ Emeril’s Bistro on our anniversary and realized I should have used “BAM” instead. LOL!

Did champagne and fruit come with room, or ordered by someone?

Both came with the room! Really nice touch. While the champagne was a one time thing, the fruit was replenished during the week for us.
