Just had a fantastic day out in Montazzoli, a brilliant town in southern Abruzzo. We will be going back for part two and hopefully flying the drone as well, it was way too windy today. If you get the chance, you have to visit Montazzoli.

My grandparents are from here and settled in Scotch Plains in 1909!
What great views from that lovely town. So many beautiful buildings too. I’ve been convinced to take the Italian plunge myself and will close (remotely) on a property in Salento next week I think. Whenever I can get over there a road trip up to your region is high on the agenda!

Hi Vario, I think this is my favourite place you've visited so far. The beautiful trees, lovely views, birdsong in the background and the gorgeous architecture. So beautiful!
