I have battled demons my whole life. Since I was 5yrs old I would have dreams that the devil was trying to drag me underneath my bed. I also saw a demon standing at the foot of my bed, it walked into my dream I was having and I woke up and the thing I saw in my dream was standing right in front of me. I was 6 and paralyzed with fear, I heard a booming voice in my head say: "Remember, all you have to say, is in the name of Jesus go away!!" And it disappeared. I was tormented throughout my childhood and young adulthood by dreams and I would try to utter "Jesus" and it would stop me until I would finally yell "Jesus"!!! Which would wake me up. This is real. There is power in Jesus name.

I had demonic harassment and the demon would bang on the bed, cause excrutiating pain, etc. One night as it screamed in my ears in strereo, something rose up in me and I commanded it to leave in Jesus name. Immediately I sensed an angel from God grabbing this demon and pulling it down through the floor of my second story bedroom and that demon never returned. This is a simplification of a longer story that involves the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I write this to confirm your ministry and your work as essential.

This is a very neglected part of true discipleship.. discipleship is ongoing. Unfortunately, so many churches do not seriously engage in discipleship as a whole, let alone in the area of demonic oppression ( in a Christian) or posession( unsaved/unbeleiver). I am a retired Police Officer, in a men's discipleship ministry, and I so appreciate their faithfulness and obedience to Christ.

My mum was in a restaurant with a friend and a woman, clearly "unwell", slithered along the ground making strange sounds. My mum professes Christ as her lord and saviour, and this woman saw my mum and slithered over to her. Thankfully, my mum has a medical background and knew how to deal with the situation and the woman, without causing a scene. But, it was pretty evident that this woman was under an influence that was clearly more than mental health issues.

One way of staying free from demonic oppression is to stay away from horror movies. Many years ago I watched a Stephen King movie, and immediately I realized that I had picked up a dark entity (even though I was a lukewarm Christian). Thank God, two weeks later I was delivered through the work and prayer of a pastor. There was a dramatic manifestation similar to the descriptions of exorcism in the New Testament. After this, Phillippians 4:8 got a new and personal meaning for me.

Music is full of it too. John Todd spoke of the covens putting the curse on the master tapes before they were sent to the pressing plant back in the 70s. This was confirmed by his friend at the time, the recently deceased Mr David Crosby. He also mentioned that you do not get a record deal unless you're at least a 6th degree practicing witch. Elton John said in the 80s that all of his songs are written in witch language, and they all have two meanings. One for the peasants who buy the records, and another for the initiates who are schooled in the esoteric meanings of the symbolism used in what sounds like innocent pop music. It's gotten incredibly blatant now because they have no need to hide any of it, but it's been brewing for a long, long time. This was heartbreaking for me as a guitar player and someone who dearly loved music. But you really can't serve two masters. You must let one go or it will tear you apart. I choose Jesus Christ. If it's God's will for me to play in his service, I will, if not, then I must walk away from it, no matter how much time and effort I have invested in it.

I agree totally about the movies. They will even add in ritual incantations in the movie! Yes the dark presence from some of the movies are real. People do not realize that television (and even computers and cell phones) can be PORTALS for demons ... but also the actual recordings/movie itself. We just do not understand so much of how the spiritual realm works and dovetails with this realm.

Demons do not wear a badge and carry a sign, but make no mistake....they are everywhere. Be vigilant. Watch with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

@@jacquelinebourque8041 sure you can. Ask them to call on their creator, and ask for the creator’s spirit..You haven’t said “GOD” or “JESUS” perhaps but the spirit knows the truth. Start with people where they are and move forward from there. That’s been my personal experience. People just want to be heard and helped in difficult times. In these cases, they are open to Jesus if it means freedom from the demonic. It’s also easier to believe in God and Jesus after encountering demons. Seems like a dichotomy but it’s really not.

I wonder if he is aware of the phenomenal work Russ Dizdar and his wife did. Shatter the darkness. He worked with police departments all over the United States. I would like everyone to keep this couple in their daily prayers, for they need them ! There is power in our covering prayers. They still have much to learn and many battles ahead. Russ and Shelly Dizdar have both passed away. We lost a powerful warrior for God but I'm happy to report that their ministry is continuing their work. It was called Shatter the Darkness. I think it still is, but not positive. They have training course videos for people interested in a deliverance ministry. There are many yt videos with him speaking in front of church assemblies and interviews.

Ya know what's really needed in this world right now? Love. GOD i ask that you protect this message, Amen! We have soooo many fatherless children. Don't know if your a father. But I caught a man doing something great in FL. He was fishing one day and a boy came along. Kid really didn't know what he was doing. So the now grandpa decided to help the boy. They started meeting weekly and he would teach him to fish. He realized how many children are fatherless. And started a program teaching young boys and girls to fish and talks to them about life any questions they have just like a father or grandfather would. Our youngins need father mentors, grandpa's that care. I watch an older man and he speaks to young guys to become real men it's phenomenal to hear their testimonies and how much they look up to the Sultan.

Your closing statement hit home. My grandmother told me if I ever saw a "spirit", to not play into it. Ignore it and never speak to it. My grandmother told me of a home they lived in that was inhabited with an evil spirit. They couldn't make a movie any more scarier than what happened in that house. I guess Mamaw knew what she was talking about when she said to pay them no attention and pray!

Five years ago I was at my neighbor's house I had been discipling her and her family and she was explaining to me that she didn't feel love for people and wished that she could. Just at that moment the Lord spoke to me and told me to put my hand on her chest and command it to come out. I thought, "You want me to do what?" Again the Lord said, "Go and put your hand on her chest and command it to come out!" So I walked over to her. She looked up and smiled. I put my hand on her chest and commanded it to come out. I, with Holy Spirit fought those demons for 3 hours. That was my introduction to deliverance.

Not knowing how to do deliverance. Believing only some ordained people should do it or can do it. No faith. No experience. The Name of Jesus has Authority on its own. And the Holy Spirit moves when Faith in the Name of Jesus is expressed. But people rarely Confess their Sin and claim atonement over their Sin by the Blood of Jesus first. Christ may say to these people "away from me I never knew you". Which is the most Feared words anyone could hear. Why? because the Name of Jesus has Authority by itself. No Faith needed. Remember Jesus sent his disciples out two by two to lay hands on the sick and to cast out demons in his Name. Where two or more are gathered in my Name, there I AM in the midst of thee.

Derek Prince truly had the right approach all biblical

My cousin and I both do exorcisms but very differently. She confronts them and gets their names and their right to a person and I get knowledge of what a person or place carries. It’s often trauma and sometimes sin or inherited sin, some pretty egregious. Repentance on behalf of the person’s ancestors (often a heartfelt ‘sorry’ is the needed redemptive force) gives a gentle deliverance. It’s more straightforward then we think sometimes!

@@rectify2003 again - I am feeling the same way. I am overwhelmed by anxiety and I remind myself that God is good and He is LOVE, and He loves us. I speak scripture out loud to myself and read the Word and that helps. In the Psalms, David had similar experiences, this comforts me to some extent and gives me hope. No doubt this is an attack straight from the pit of hell. Not sure if it will help but I tell myself God must have something big for me, otherwise the enemy wouldn't be trying so hard to attack my mind. I also remember that I am in Christ Jesus and there is now no condemnation to us who belong to Him, Romans 8:1. Rest in His arms brother - first thing I ever heard Him speak to me 36 yrs ago was Psalm 46:10, Be still and know that I am God. Being still in my mind is the hardest thing for me! I have literally lost my entire family all in tragic ways 💔 I'm trying to sell the family house because something very demonic exists and I have 5 urns with my beloved but deceased family members along with some of their belongings. I really need some direction but I have nobody in my life anymore. Please tell what a soul tie is or how to recognize a cursed object?

But the Catholic Bible and the Protestant Bible are very different. They are two different Gospels... And only one is the true Gospel.

Oh my goodness after my mother in law died, who was a santeria healer (?). I burned her stuff. While my husband was sleeping. Yes all went wild,. I'm alive and left him. I was seriously spiraling in drug addiction I went crazy until I believe in the bottom of my heart, like grabbing a baby kitten by the neck I was placed in holy places where my life now is so alive in Christ Jesus. I'm clean single live my life as righteous as to God.

I have experienced this situation in a certain person I knew. God never had me engage it. He had me use a less direct method until we separated. The closer to our physical separation - the more it manifested .I have only experienced these manifestations when this person was nearby. I did see the black eye and face morph one time. Once this person knew that I saw the spirit, he never spoke to me or looked me in the face again. We separated shortly after. Sadly he passed away 7years later. I know it was demonic, but I still don't fully understand what the significance of the situation was. It did try to destroy me in every way possible for as long as I knew this person. Thank God for His Divine deliverance and freedom!

I have to address the point made by the brother about locking Oiji Boards, etc etc away in a cupboard. 1. Where is the example of this in Scripture found, and example? 2. What did God command Joshua to do with idols, standing images, etc, when he led Israel into Canaan land? He was told to SMASH every one of them and NOT EVEN to covet the gold or silver on them? 3. Why did God direct Jacob to go worship Him but first they had to remove all the nose rings and earrings off their bodies, and JACOB BURIED IT ALL under a tree (a picture of the Cross of Jesus). THEN, they went to worship God, and they did NOT go back to retrieve all that Jacob buried. 3. Why did the new believers in the book of Acts BURN 50,000 silver peices worth of occult material? 4. These are the examples we ought to follow. They are written for us to take heed - we learn how to do as God has set a pattern for us. Please examine the Scriptures on this issue. If you can find a GOD ORDAINED pattern of locking occult things away in a cupboard, do it. If not .... DONT. Just because the demons get upset because their STUFF is burnt is no grounds to cave in to their tantrums. If you truly are expelling demons from people in the name of Jesus then you would not need to lock occult stuff away. Neither Jesus or His disciples succumbed to demonic pressures, tantrums. Because such things DID happen after destruction of occult stuff, is serious grounds to judge something is lacking in the process. By keeping the "stuff" locked away in a cupboard it is opening up a door for further mischief. So I finish with my first Q: Where in Scripture is there an example of the practice of locking away occult stuff?????

The Reformation was an intersecting event that was supposed to get us back to the power and the glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its FULNESS and its PURITY - HOLINESS. But tragically people stop at that intersecting junctire and think that is it. In many respects what exists now among the wide spectrum of the Reformed movement is another form of organised religion WITH SOME improvements. My prayer is that we truly seek the Lord, the King of Glory, who has ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY and who has called sinners to become His Holy people filled with His power, authority, grace and peace, His knowledge, wisdom, understanding. Paul prays - that you may be filled (crammed to overflow) with all the fulness of God - in Christ of course. If all knowledge, wisdom, power and authority is in Christ, and we are in Him.... why are we so insipid, so religious, so starched up, so impotent to live an overcoming life in Christ in all humility and ever increasing grace and peace, and in the holy power of His resurrection? Why have we limited God's ability to do what He did through Christ Jesus and His apostles, saying His gifts are no longer for today? How presumptuous. How dishonouring to our Lord Jesus. May God have mercy on us and turn us back to Him once again FULLY.

This is fascinating! I too was raised Catholic became an Evangelical for about 14 years, now I’m SSPX Catholic! Having both religious backgrounds works so well together for elevating my faith. Catholicism as a child gave me a base, being an evangelical taught me how to dive into the Bible. Now that I’m a Latin Catholic, I don’t recognize Pope Francis! As a Latin Catholic I have grown in humility, grace, and praying the rosary is very powerful. Demons definitely exist too many to count, Praise Yaweh!

Used to be Catholic, until last year when I had an encounter with God and he healed me of bitterness that was destroying my marriage, without me knowing. When I started reading the Bible, I realized I could not identify as Catholic anymore, because much as Jesus did not come to introduce any religion in the world, but rather to make us believers in Him, I realized that many things in the Catholic church openly go against the direct teachings of Christ and in the Bible. One is the mere having of statues especially those of Mary in the church, when the Bible clearly forbids this. Also calling Mary the queen of heaven and yet in Jeremiah, the Bible clearly describes the queen of heaven as a pagan diety, who made God very jealous and angry with the Isrealites, prayer through saints and also, the prayer beads which you call the rosary now, praying through Mary and yet Jesus says there is only one mediator between God and man and that is the Jesus Christ. In Luke when a woman told Jesus that blessed are the breasts that nursed you, He said yes, but even more blessed is anyone who believes in Jesus. Then I was prompted to study the history and how all these things and traditions were started in the Catholic church. From prayer beads, that are used by all different pagan religions as well, Islam, Hindu, wiccans and witches.the only thing the Bible talks about them is when Jesus was warning his followers not to be like the heathens who repititions in their prayers more like repeated chants thinking that God will hear them. Throughout the Bible no one ever prayed through the dead, however powerful they were, not Elijah, not Moses, not through the greatest prophet, once they died that was it, why, because God forbed that. The only person who tried consulting the dead Saul consulting Samuel ended up dying the next day because of what He didm. But when you see all the other pagan religions they believe in praying through ancestors, and to them. Same with the pagan Rome, and hence the whole praying through saints. So there are so many things whivh were copied and incorporated from the pagan Roman traditions and put into the Catholic church, such that if you are to follow the teachings in the bible, you would know immediately that it's against what God commands. That's why I left the Catholic church

Deliverance Prayers for the use of the Laity by Father Chad Ripperger. This book helps ordinary people who are not trained Exorcists. Also listening to someone like Father Chad explains in detail the dangers of just anyone doing a exorcism. Jesus is ultimately the Exorcist and God is in charge.

not recommended for non Catholics to tinker around in the demonic realm as they are outside of the Christ's Church and Christ has the authority alone. And for Catholics, one must be ordained and a bishop to perform exorcisms or have the authority dispensed to them from their bishop. Otherwise the Fr. Ripperger prayers for the laity are the best resource.

We are in the last days, and the veil is so then. It is only going to get worse. Praying for you brother and your wife. Keep doing what your doing as an example of the Lord's power and the authority he gives you over Satans demons. Praise the Lord in all you do.

Many years ago I was sleeping and I was awakend by my bed moving. When I looked up their was an evil man that I knew and had died. A demon took his form to scare me. As it laughed, I grabbed my bible and read Psalms 23 out loud, and that demon took off so fast that I realized how powerful that verse is. I went back to sleep like a baby. There is a story in the Bible that addresses the issue of what happens when someone doesn't follow Jesus. The demon wonders to find a new home, does not so decides to go back to it's "home" and brings 7 WORSE THAN HIM with him.

I’ve done it, (after three days of fasting) the power of God came into my feet and up to my knees and stopped there.I spoke in tongues and then my voice sounded really powerful and with authority and sounded like that of a man’s voice, which was Christ I believe.

I question the wisdom of storing objects determined to be possessed by or associated with demons or occultic practice. Even if things get "dicey" for a while for the owner when such objects are burned/destroyed, I think burning/destroying the objects are preferable. It also makes sense to let the owner throw the object(s) into a fire as an act of committing it and everything associated with it to God and as a outward demonstration of an inward reality: the old man (self) being crucified and the new man being raised up to life in Christ. As far as it being "dicey" for the owner, this demonstrates how it is so important to fellowship with other believers, to read the scriptures, and to pray and fast, even more so as babes in Christ. Things got "dicey" for a bit alright, when Jesus granted the legion of demons their request to go into a herd of pigs!

I was thinking of those pigs as I was reading your post and wondering about how they destroyed themselves. My thinking is, if they keep it stored with a blessing, what happens if it gets back into someone’s hands again in the future. It reminds me of Jumanji.

This battle is picking up speed. Put on the whole armor of God.....take up the cross and follow Him. Those that have eyes to see...LET THEM SEE.

It is prophetic in these last days! With a minimum knowledge of Jesus's words in Matthew 24, Paul's words in Thess letters, John's words revelation, it is happening NOW. Finally, when the Lord delivered people from demonic possession, He didn't have conversations with the demons, usually He spoke ONE WORD, "OUT !"

After an alcohol problem and bad break up I’ve been the target of repeated constant demonic attack. Pray I find deliverance.

I love his point of view on it being a “seek and save outreach.” It reminds us to keep things in perspective. It’s not about the demons; it’s about setting the captives free and leading them to salvation in Christ Jesus!

I had a few experiences on the job as well. Unfortunately if we discuss it we're crazy. I spoke with a guy in the backseat on my cruiser and it was as though he was warning me of things to come. Same thing , his eyes were dark but he also spoke in an English accent. I was vulnerable at the time because I was going through severe trauma. This was 2018. What he said still sticks with me.

This is very kind of this gentleman and his family, thank you.
