Of course they are! Babies are hard to take care of, and they were nowhere to be found and showed no interest in that baby. Now that the child is somewhat grown and easier to handle, they want a piece of that.

A man who leaves his pregnant girlfriend, 7 months pregnant might I add, is not a man you should want around your child. Even if we take away the fact that he signed away his rights, when people should you their true colors, believe them. I guarantee when times get tough he will leave again, but now she’s accepting support from him so it’s her mistake to make 🤷‍♀️.

Any parent that willingly signs away his/her rights should not get second chances or redos. They should know the implications of parental termination and if they are suddenly having regrets too bad so sad, but they are not owed anything with the child. And even if OP decided to let her ex back into her son's life, she needs to make it a prerequisite that he needs to pay all of the back child support before he's allow any sort of visitation. Can't play if you don't pay.

He felt resentment, deep seething resentment. She moved in and in a whirlwind turned his life upside down. It doesn't excuse how he treated her but it is a form of abuse. I don't think it was intentional on her behalf and I'm sure if he brought it up at the time, she would have stopped, but it still happened and he compartmentalised it and decided that she was controlling and abusive. I bet he told his parents that she was controlling and toxic/abusive. Which would explain their response.

When people show you who they really are, believe them. Just give a verbal warning and if you can record it the better then report it to the authorities and from there it's easy to get a restraining order. Set clear boundaries with those around you about the situation. Your child is the most important thing, and you must protect them. Don't let someone like Travis back into the child's life he will eventually treat the kid just how he treated OP. Which is abusive and neglectful, and no child should have to deal with that.

Not even listening to the atory, your the AH its his son, no past poor decisions dont exclude him from making future good decision. Your not protecting "your boy" your punishing your ex

When you don't use common sense you write idiotic comments like this. No poor decisions doesn't exclude his son, are you dense?😂

OP sounds entitled af, Travis was never on board with it. She moved in with him (cuz she couldn't pay for her place), then changed his whole style(his and his home) then she baby trapped him and cry about it. Such women deserves to be divorced.

Both sound immature asf but when they are having a kid then making your house into a healthy environment is bare minimum and if the dude lived like me before I met my gf then I completely understand why she would want to make those changes . And further the way he treated her when she was quite literally growing a human being inside her makes him the biggest dimwit
