Thanks very much! I think the camera was kind not quite so good in the flesh! I'll be watching how you attack the footwells as I think mine will also need them doing..... And there'll be lots more videos on the Land Rovers over the coming weeks and months :-)

Have a 1971 swb pick up petrol fitted electronic ignition inlet manifold isolator stainless steel exhaust parabolic springs gas shocks long wheel base rims 265x75. all terrain tyres. Had since 201. Paid. 400 pounds very reliable 😜👍

Nice Landy... Note: all Series Landies had sliding windows, not only military, ok 😂. Like the steering wheel, that is totally military, like the 101... Good luck, I think it ended up at a good home... 🇿🇦

Nice! Have an ex NZ Army, series 3 V8, 109”. Interesting that your dual tanks are under the seats. My dual tanks are rear and RH under seat.

Don’t worry, the factory fitted ones have those fuel tank switching issues you’re worried about too.

Ive bought the same military 109" petrol as this but with the full canvas tilt roof converted to 9 seater one underseat fuel tank on the passenger side, painted in bronze green with a brush n foam roller which im just about to get it re-sprayed in Satin Nato green or Satin Olive green. Great investment or a money pit but hopefully a bundle of fun off road green laning and an appreaciating classic. Enjoy the adventure and best of luck with the classic Landrover.

Congratulations! I actually prefer the soft tops, but they're a little harder to come by. I have a soft top Defender Wolf 110 which I'll try to do a video on soon, so wasn't quite so bothered with this 109. I've rollered a vehicle before but ended up buying a cheap sprayer just to save time! Good luck with your re-spray. Thank you - I think money pit, but I'll definitely enjoy it! Likewise, enjoy yours :-)

@@Rich_Runs_Cars thanks it's my first classic and it lives in a garage with carpet on the floor and big sheets of cardboard under the Landrover. It's living a life of luxury now it's retired from service. Lol.
