I was just thinking the same thing! Big cats always like to pounce and latch on to their prey, so it’d be awesome to see it with this kitty

Honestly I don't think smilodon should get pounce. The smilodons arms suggest that they pulled prey to the ground and used their saber teeth to finish off their prey. I feel it wouldn't be appropriate

⁠​⁠​⁠@@sharkbait2555 You literally just described the forelimbs of every modern pantherine. There’s nothing suggesting Smilodon cannot pounce they’d be even better forelimb grapplers than pantherines as well due to their robustness.

The mod is incredible, the design and gameplay is quite comfortable, maybe it falters in the movement animations, yes, but the design and abilities are great, I really liked the mod

Well now the mammoth needs a remaster so it can fight back against these smilodons of which it could one shot

I think you should addd the wooly rhino steepe bison western horse and American cheetah and a ability for the smilodon to grab the prey and pull it to the ground and finish it off with its bite on the neck and saber should be able to grab on horse bison mammoth:shown in video and some other animals like add humans and saber can pounce on it and Mabye grizzly or short faced bear and wolfs dire wolfs would be good they can latch on any animal: except mammoth they can crouch so their prey does not see them

21 seconds in and I can already say that those are some damn big teeth even for a smilodon 💀

I don't think it needs a debuff. It's attack and speed is good, but it's HP is quite weak tbf.

@@Dinosaurian364 I've seen Campto's and Laten's solo Rex's before, that doesn't make them OP lol. Again, I don't think it needs a nerf. If it's health was decent than yeah maybe

turning is pretty jerky...the spine also doesn't bend enough..these are felines and so aside from the legs they look very stiff. They need a buff as smilidon had an absolutely lethal bite with such large teeth but in-game...these guys are push overs.
