As an ex bestbuy employee, i gotta say seeing the tick for tack between these 2 giants has always been interesting and pretty cool. Of course it always comes down to preference, but i love how the 1- ups keep it competitive. Love the vid man!

Amazing video Andres! I just finished my switch to full Samsung ecosystem minus a TV(soon) and am very pleased with how it all flows! I appreciate how you question problems and wait for patterns and analyze before speaking. Thats a true lost skill of today's world I don't see much of on KZread and why I support you and your channel. Refreshing to see how Samsung is doing. I've gone back and forth with Samsung and iPhone for years, and you hit all the problems I've had with Samsung. Since I'm no longer a super user, the basic and easy iPhone is all I need in my busy life. Although I truly miss dual apps, notifications, and the numbers row on the keyboard.

To your point about sharing media with Apple users and it sending granular looking videos/pics, there is a way to do it pretty simply using your Google Photos App. I have an S22+, waiting on my S24 Ultra. Go into the Pic or vid, then click share. You'll then see a button called "Create Link". You then send that link to your contact and it will be in its original quality.😊

Watching from my S24 ultra and this phone did not disappoint me!! 🥰🥰

Glad you brought up the grainy issues when lowering the brightness. I commented on your ig post and you're the only person who's reached back out! Not many people can see it or even notice it but at night it bothered me a lot because I use my phone at low brightness. It was a defective unit btw. My exchange unit didn't have that issue.

I'm only stuck as iPhone as my daily driver is because of those whom I communicate with the most. I'm slowly getting back to Samsung as I also use a fold 5 and recently purchased the Galaxy S9 Ultra. Great video!

Only a few minutes and it’s so good already. Great insights and footage as always, Andres! When you mentioned the text messaging downsides, this is the truth. One can hope that it’ll get better with Apple implementing RCS finally with iOS; it’s worked so far in the beta :) Question: would you ever consider trying out and reviewing Samsung’s Z Fold series (or any of foldable phones) in the future?

Those video edits are so fire now, I really enjoy to watch your contents. FYI - iOS18 has RCS messaging so you will no longer be the blacksheep. You'll get the moving 3 dots when iPhone or Android is typing, no more of the color bubbles and the best part, no more potato quality pictures / videos between to the two operating systems. I'm on iOS18 Beta 2 and Messaging is so much better than 17.

The sudden battery degradation is real-you're like the tenth KZreadr I've seen recently talk about it. But given that it likely came from a recent update, there should be a fix coming at some point.

I have both iPhone 15pro and S24U. I have been skeptical about switching to the S24U as my main phone for over two weeks but haven't dived in. I'll take this video as a sign to make the switch

Andres, you need a MagSafe pop socket! It makes using the phone one handed SOOOO much easier as well as grippier, if you still want to carry cards get the pop wallet+ it comes in various versions such as leather or plastic it’s super super handy!! I have both and it has really helped in enjoying my pro Max more! ☺️☺️

After months of going back and forth, I have finally realized the S24 Ultra is the device for me. Even if I don't take advantage of much of the features that make this a $1,300 phone, at some point of my week I appreciate they are there for me. While on the 15 Pro Max and other Pro Max devices before that one, I feel like I'm forcing myself to buy the top tier phone because of the ProMotion display and nothing else. with the S24 Ultra, I always feel like I've received a product worthy of its high value.

Some of these reasons are definitely region specific. In the UK most of the people I know use whatsapp. Even if everyone in a group chat is on iphone, group messages are really commonly on whatsapp.

Those GPS issues are very annoying. I had similar issues with my iPhone 11 in South Africa. It would bug out while I was driving in town. I got lost a few times 😅

What you mentioned about the gps happens to me all the time, I used to have a galaxy A52s which was a midrange phone sobI thought it was because of that and when I got the S24 ultra seeing it happening again really bothered me, right now I’m using the 15 pro max and haven’t tested to see if the problem persists but it was only when walking indeed because when driving it worked perfectly. My battery also is bad in the S24 ultra, especially when in idle, when my A52s (which I still have) takes a long time to lose 1% if it’s sleeping the galaxy S24 ultra loses from 3-5 without doing anything and then using it regularly just isn’t good and I’ve noticed a green tint all over the screen, especially when it overheats, it becomes greener and I’ve complained in Samsung members 3 times already, it’s been happening for more than 2 months and they just don’t fix it. Those are some of the reasons why I’ll keep the iPhone as my main phone, it’s just more reliable

My Apple CarPlay messes up probably more than that. So I say that’s a win on your part 😂

Please remember that RCS will come to IOS18 so your picture and Video problem will go away as that is literally an apple problem at this point in time because of their aggressive proprietary problem with iMessage.

I am on the fence about pulling the trigger and switching back to Android, coming from an iPhone 15 PM, with all the ecosystem device, aside from MacBook/iMac. I was an avid Samsung enjoyer, this is my second ever iOS and to this point I have loved it, but that s24U paired with a S9 Ultra, sounds and looks so good
