Dude yes. Its been like a decade since I saw you live. One time was on purpose at a bar I brought friends to see you at. The other time I walked into the bar at my bowling alley and you were just working your magic for an open mic. Had no idea you'd be there that night, but soon as I walked in I knew what I was hearing. One of the coolest surprises of my life. Funny enough, aand I just found these not too long ago, but I still have the first 3 CDs I bought from ya. Man has this world changed since then, luckily things like these will always keep the good vibes going.

I put this to you sir, does the younger generation of today have the capacity to appreciate anything that resonates purity, being articulate and coming from the soul like all the artistic mediums that exist do ? Let alone the hours of hard work, the nights alone until the sun rises battling to get that sound right and I might add working through the physical pain that accompanies forcing ones hands to do what the mind say's repeatedly until that structure of note changes becomes a muscle memory. We're lucky Ewan Dobson does.

It's fun how the unmistakably familiar yet - ..."reimagined" melodies coincide with the titles "Time" (2, 3). It's like revisiting an old memory and everything you miss so much is right in your arms, yet it never looks exactly the same. Things are always "missing" yet you fill in the blanks with anything from repose to new beauty or new tragedy. You can see things in a new light, or maybe even see them more fully against a stark and wholly separate background. It's not just a new song that harkens for a moment to the first installments or builds on their theme, it's like taking what was already there and ...... I dunno, seeing what it does now I guess...... Just a cool parallel between title theme and musical ideas. This makes me think a lot about memory and identity and all that gaudy stuff. Cheers. Random post script but Ewan knows the bird love.... This past year I had a hummingbird drink from a feeder I was holding in my hand. I wasn't even trying to get it to come to me, I was walking the feeder back to it's spot and the little one just flew right up to me before I even hung it up. Just started drinking with no concern for me. I was stoked for like a week xp

Holy hell....Didnt thought i witness the day you come up with another masterpiece. Don´t want to put you under pressure but if you continue and come back to making tracks like level 40, blood and ice, level 5, orange, you for sure will have someone who buys all tabs. Im playing your music for such a long time now( 8 years) and its a pleasure to listen to some new! Great to see you back my man! Still, one of the best fingerstyle composers out there.
