Personally I think it was the name that threw them off, or it did me a few seconds anyway. If you instead had said the mark of a Deatheater tattoo then it would have been easier.

I thought I could avoid spoilers just by watching an interview video but Zoe had to go and say she casts Revelio to find Newt and Tina behind a bookcase. Lol damn it!

Slytherin's heir I mean, that’s obviously true, but there’s a lot of stuff to memorize. It’s pretty fair for them to forget some stuff, and if they haven’t read the books more than once or gone on Pottermore much or at all, there’s a lot the average reader wouldn’t know.

Some spells were maybe more advanced, but what does the dark mark look like?? That is like one of the key symbols in the entire franchise, with fake sticker tattoos and everything off it... I don't expect them to know the absolute ins and outs, but some of these questions were absolutely basic

@@Bethany199 I grew up with Harry Potter and have seen the films numerous times, but I've never seen the dark mark outside of a few scenes in the movies. Never seen the fake tattoos or anything, I doubt most people have. The dark mark isn't exactly a 'basic' question. Basic is more 'what does avada kedavra mean'.

I think somehow Ezra Millers Snape Impression is really sexy. Don't ask.
