That last buff on the "free" duty gens is active at all times. Got to remember that.

yes, but will cost a lot of BOA, so is it worth doing all those levels, or do them all to 7* first, for me i just let the fragments dictate what I did when i was starting out.

I am going ɓy what fragments I have left since I have been ascending them. Spending a lot of gems in the tavern to gets a many copies as I can. Blood of ares is about as valuable as gems if not more valuable.

I would say buffs for coiners, and debuff for low coiners. As a trap keep I'm always looking for the debuff rather than buffs.

Typically at the start of each SVS or Battelfield I will have all my ascended generals in senate places for those early opposition scouts. Then I take them out to use for attacking and reinforcing. Just gives the opposition a little more to think about when they see those greater buffs

I find most players just press attack

The good thing with Senate is that your generals can't get obsoleted there (at least so far lol). But for most players, I would concentrate on sub gens, mostly because I think that there are a couple that are undervalued by Evony compared to the highly paid sub gens (Nero, etc.).

Definitely senate last (small buffs). However, for T1 keeps, little traps to slightly more bloated keeps with meat walls still working with flats.... The meat wall and flats do the defending and there is not enough high tier troops to really benefit from the percentage buffs of duty generals, but your debuffs are always going to help you. Solos or rallies on a T1 are almost always going to exceed your ability to debuff.

As a low coiner, I have mostly tavern generals for duty and subs since I have a better chance of getting enough fragments to ascend them. I prioritize a certain buff/debuff for defense. I think of where i may be weak and work on increasing that buff/debuff.I have all my tavern duty generals 7 stars and 1 is 8 stars for in city buffs and some of sub generals for debuffs. Senate would be last to ascend generals for me. At my level and now with K45, it's all about defense. Victory favors the spenders.

After this event i primarily focused on duty and senate. I rarely get hit (outside of chalons/all stars) and rarely solo keeps so not convinced ill get much value from sub gens being red. Trap keeps definitely i see the value

What kind of gear do you have on your siege duty gen? Looks different than all I've seen😮

not sure what you mean by siege duty...work shop officer? he has a duty gear chest and weapon

I've had a Trial of Knights strategy of using Blood of Ares on a common general like Hannibal or Soult to ascend and sit in Senate with red stars. Then perfectly dismiss for 80% return at any time. Spending 4k Blood of Ares gives 25% return. So it's a 5% profit and you can keep them ascended on Senate for weeks kind of like banked BoA for future use. Feel free to share this strategy. It has won me Trial of knights in the early stages of my server for 800 more BoA. Duty and Sub City are permanent ascension so I haven't gone all out on them. Just 1 ascension per event on avg.

Becauese or we have not enough blood of ares or now😅..more fragments..we need to use blood of ares like a snake strategy betweeen duty officer and sub gen until get all 10 start and then or meanwhile get senato

Genghis ALWAYS mispronouncing! 🤣🤣 Even have me slipping and saying "airs" instead of "air-eez" sometimes.😉

For me it was in-city generals first, I got them between 6 to 8 star depending on fragments, next I got all the sub generals to 6 star, then went back to in-city generals and got them all 10 star eventually. Then I started on senate generals, it was good timing that i was retiring a few of my PVP generals because of upgrading them, so that gave me a great start having four 10 star generals to place in the senate. I carried on then where I could, adding the odd star to generals when I had spare blood of ares and fragments. Having done the dragon event I’m now in a position to add the 7th star to all 11 sub generals, but i will wait until the next knight event before I do it. It also helps if you have a little luck getting fragments, the tavern generals are ok to get, but I did have a couple that took me ages and cost me a lot of gems as I clicked refresh and clicked and clicked for hours some evenings 😂. I’m not sure what was worse, having a sore finger from clicking so much or the tears from watching my gems go down and down 😂.
