I have the 200kv motors on my carbon GT and the battery is draining so quick like crazy, I only get about an hour- 1.5 hours of riding.

so many do, evolve is dangerous. I would never even step on one and try it out on a bike path, yet I ride up to 65 km/h in traffic on mine. :)

how hot do da motors get. have you tried the 23t gear with your set up. i hear it can reach up to 97-100kph depending on weight of the person riding

i have those 200kv motors on my cgt and find the 83mm and 97mm wheels work best with either 23t on 83mm or 29t and 32t on 97mm. speed btw 50-70+kph

I do not recommend the 200KV, if you drive long hill up it could overheat your ESC. If you dont want drive killometers of hills, you can take this and 18650 battery cells.

Do not get these motors man... buy eskating.eu motors (3500 w each) and gear it any way you want... I can go over 60 km/h and have insane acceleration even up huge hills...

Stock battery has voltage sag on stock motors lol it will have it worse on these as they pull more power. My 18650 upgrade doesnt even remotely move under full power 😎

@@alonsovazquez2598 well I paid around 2200€ because with lower taxes but generally it costs 2590€ without battery and the charger... With 2 batteries and the charger u end up with 2600-2800 Euros for everything

My weight is around 60kg and no I never had problems with the police so far... But my brother did. But he drove my old 600watt board and got fined for 450$ but I never got caught or so

you can upgrade to a 10s5p on the Carbon GT. I have a Samsung 30Q 18650 10s8p on my GTX.

It's just on paper, that board is unusable... Has no torque and won't achieve the max speed mentioned... It's stupid... No offense to the video maker but it's plain stupid...

dude, what board do you have??? If you have 10s5p batteries on your board, use 23t gearing and get those motor. or you can buy the new KALY NYC Eboard.

Don’t the motors he bought are on eBay and I wouldn’t trust it. I’d rather use evolves motors so it’s covered under warranty. The risk isn’t worth a couple mph faster

It's cool...but I'd rather not draw attention from legislators. Last thing we need is someone getting speed wobbles at 70 and splattering.

Dont trust the BMS / ESC of the evolve GT BOARDS. These sometimes just cut the power to the motors.

Extremely unlikely to be true. Probably if the remote is dropped it needs calibration, the reason this cuts power if the brake is even slightly activated while accelerating it will cut the forward power, which can be unpleasant if it happens at speed, it happened to me so I I regularly calibrate the remote now and no problems

Same with the gtr. Evolve can't design motor controllers, or at least not ones that are fit for purpose. Really dangerous lottery one plays with anything evolve.

yea but hub motor have no choice on wheels to use and hub motors sucks on rough roads. rather have belt or gear drive anyday. The best electric skateboards use belt or gear drive, like KALY

That board isnt meant for that speed loool, too small, also get bigeer tyres with little more kv to have better speed and fewer chances to be thrown off.

Did you just swap weak little Chinese motors... and put on larger wheels... HAHAHAHA Battery isn’t designed for that, and yes, you would want more amperage in your batteries as a dead stop with those things is significantly ‘harder’ with the higher kv, so not as much torque, and even less if you don’t have hall sensors connected to your esc... basically you made the board worse.
