Still love mine for cutting pavers and straight cuts. Weaker than a gas saw with a good blade but way easier than handling a gas saw all day.

can we discuss the use of water with electricity for a moment? just bought one and wondering if water usage has impacted negatively on the machine?

Also you should run a saw like that on a heavy duty short cord

Do you need to open the cap even when not using the vacuum or keep it closed? When you did the wet cut it looked like the cap was closed and the dry cut it was open. I'm thinking of getting this cutting tool for a flag stone project. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't really matter although it does seem to really make everything come out the hole pretty well if open wet or dry, this has been a great saw should work well on a flagstone project
