Ahhh Windows XP! The good old MySpace, Bebo and MSN days! That windows messenger icon gave me nostalgia! And Windows vista burning all our own mixed cds

Vista was really good, it was just too early to release and the graphics was too beautiful for old hardwares.

I have to disagree. I ran Windows 7 and Windows Vista on two identical PCs in 2009, with GTA 4. The Vista PC had lags the Windows 7 PC ran perfectly fine.

sad story: my mom bought a windows 7 for work and when i was born in 2011 she gave it to me and she used to take pictures and videos of me when i was really young with her nokia and move them to the windows 7 so that laptop had all my life photos form 0 to like 10 but sadly in 2023 the hard disk of the laptop got corrupted so that means that my whole childhood will be gone if it doesn't get fixed 10 years of my life are just gonna get deleted we took it to a professional but he couldn't do anything then we took it to another professional now it's still there i lost all hope please pray for me

Windows 3.1 was my first Windows... sweet childhood memories. Anyway, XP was revolutionary and 10 was perfect.

Windows95 was really a revolution. Taskbar, Recycle bin and often used RIGHT CLICK. My computer was also the computer was also the giving of Windows95. LEGENDARY!

Windows 3.1 was the first version that got noticed. Windows 95 was a complete redesigned which changed the way we computer. Though still on DOS, it was more than a graphical shell. Some of it's features are still in Windows 10/11. Windows XP was the first version not on top of DOS

Windows ME - This version considered a large failure on market. Windows XP - Best Microsoft GUI. It was childhood of some people. Windows Server 2003 - Based on Windows XP, recommended for servers. Windows Vista - This version was too a failure, but it was first with Windows Aero. Windows 7 - Most successful version. Windows 8 - Most hated version of Windows. Windows 10 - Nothing to say, just a OS. Windows 11 - New version, just a OS.

People say Windows 1.0 was the first OS to need more than 64KB and it was it needed 128KB to function and work and even on its minimum of 128KB ram it still ran fast and now on windows 7 on 1GB ram is like a slide show

windows 11 is a beautiful OS based on its visuals. Everything from windows xp until now is basically eye candy in my opinion.

2000 and 2001 Windows brings back memories

Played with Microsoft OSes since before there was a Microsoft OS and that was SC-DOS. WFW 3.11 was the first truly useful and reliable windowing OS that I used and liked. Win95 was a farce, Win98 was better, while Win98se got things right. Tried WinME but it just made me angry and frustrated. Win XP was the first solid consumer grade OS that MS published. Win7 Ultimate was a dream to use. Vista was braindamaged. Win 8.0 and 8.1 made me laugh. Windows 10 with a classic interface shell is useable.

I use to spend way too many hours on the Paint program just doodling. And I never did master Minesweeper

I was born in 1991 and I started being a pc fan and my first pc was with windows xp and then windows vista and when windows 7 came out I thought that was it but then windows 8 came out and I cried because I didn’t want the future to forget about the old versions of windows. My Pc now is windows 11 pro it have a 4070 ti a i9 13 gen 2 terabytes of storage and 32 gigabytes of ddr5 ram with water cooling but deep down I still want the old windows back and then kids will see what we as adults have back then but I know it won’t happen 😢
