Geodude, Onix, Machop. Play them correctly and you should be OK. In Gen 2 I always use Onix, lots of Screeches mean Rock Throw does a lot. In Gen 4 I plan to set up my Geodude with 3 Rock Polishes, then wearing down with Rock Throw.

The visuals are so nice and amazing, but it is really one of the most evil games out there. It seems like they wanted to drive people crazy instead of just delivering fun. The game is still fun though, but damn could it drive one insane.

I missed the short video clip where the water level raised in the tower. My sister yelled Pizza Hut and yep I missed it completely. The only way I could continue is restarting the game over. I think tho that block moving at the bottom of the tower messed with a lot people tho. Not just me.

Can I just say, that flipping miltank was the worst thing in Pokémon ever at that time. Back when there weren’t any forums or walkthroughs, it was so easy to give up. That stupid thing is way too strong. And it drinks its own milk for frick sake!!!! “DISGUSTING!!!”

I remember having to look up where a good Pokémon would be for me to get, and I found out that heracross is available from head butting trees to the right of azalea town. I would have never known that without the internet; otherwise I’d have been stuck there for a lot longer

@@RayoMcQueen95990 1 out of 8 people do not have a Hard time with whitney because of the Gender of the starter (most likely the strongest on the group) because of attract on miltank. Also yea, trying to brute force it is harder to just debuff her. Also the one in HGSS has scrappy so even trying and pp stall with a gastly isnt even possible.

Trial of the Sword is relatively easy so long as you don't rush into things and waste resources. The only level I feel is legitimately unfair is the water level where you get five Lizalfos that instantly go after you.

The key to doing it is to use your runes a lot. They are basically your only hope during the beginning stages, over time they give you better weapons, but the key is to use your environment to your advantage. I beat it after hours of trying

Yeah the water temple wasn't hard as much as it was just frustrating because it completely slowed down the game to a crawl. The big payoff was the dark link fight so it wasn't all that bad.

Whitney's Miltank is easy if you use some semblance of strategy. Rollout is the main threat, but if it misses or otherwise fails it resets to 30 base power. So paralyze it, confuse it, lower its accuracy, lower its attack, make it flinch, do literally anything other than mindlessly attack and hope for the best.

In my opinion, the perfect run is the hardest Mario level of them all because you can’t take a hit at all. This fact just makes you anxious to clear this level and the farther in you go, the more anxious you become and the more likely you are to mess up. Dying anywhere in this level just feels like a huge defeat, but it is super satisfying and relieving when you actually do clear the level. You actually feel like some sort of Video Game God when you do so. Since I’m a perfectionist, I feel life is like this level.

The perfect run has been a thorn in my side ever since I finished collecting all the stars, EXCEPT for that one. I always mess up at the part with the blue and red tiles. Idk if I'll be able to 100% complete super mario galaxy 2 bc of this level

Ohh yea I get your pain, as someone who’s played all of the 3d mario games and 100% all of them (baring sunshine but even then I managed to beat the pachinko level, lilypad level and I thing the watermelon level as well), I’ve only managed to beat the perfect run once and only once and it’s always the goddam hammer bros.

I recalled just how crazy the Trial of the Sword can be considering that you start out with no weapons, armor, anything you have. But I have done it. The Master Mode of the Trial is what kicked me right in the face and heightened my senses knowing I HAVE to beat it! The most bizarre thing that happened to me was in the final floors of the Middle Trials where you fight three Guardian Scout Mk III models and while I was bouncing back the beams they fire with perfect shield reflects, SOMEHOW, one of their projectiles got stuck to me and took continuous damage and hitting the shields until they break!

I may sound like an 8 year old denying how bad they are but looking at the radius’s of me exploding when I die and the bomb exploding like I was way too far away from the bombs. That’s why it took me way longer than it should have

It'd be preferable if there was at least some form of brief text explanation describing what makes it difficult. Users who haven't played any of the games will most likely than not be "so, what am I looking at?" (unless its something obvious, like the Kamek's Revenge). Edit: This does not apply to all of them, but for those who seem 'normal' to others.

@@appdata619 But some of these just aren't that difficult. The watermelon festival is honestly not bad at all. Neither is that instance of Rainbow Road. RR honestly hasn't been difficult after the first one. The first level of the Impossible pack also isn't bad at all. There are a number of regular SMW athletic levels that are harder, and SMW is not known for being a hard game.

No Chocolate Remaining || A lot of the difficulty comes from the context of previous levels in the game, where you get broadsided with a mechanic you need to learn on the fly, having to play through a culmination of mechanics, or play at a much higher speed giving you less time to think and plan ahead. A lot of these also straight up have no checkpoints and an error sets you back to start. Except the splatoon 2 boss fight. That -entire- expansion is a ginormous difficulty spike compared to the rest of the game, and is well worth watching a perfect run on its own, making incredibly good use of the tilt aim controls.

Most of these aren’t “unfair” per say, just difficult Edit: Except for the impossible pack

C-3 is such a pain. That said, the difficulty of The Lost Levels is greatly exaggerated. It's not harder than most NES games - it's the other Mario games which are easy. Stuff like Metroid, Kid Icarus, Contra etc. are way harder than The Lost Levels.

@@19Szabolcs91 Eh, maybe. I can beat Contra and never beat Lost Levels. Admittedly, I didn't put as much time into Lost Levels. Metroid is also easier than Contra, and I would say Lost Levels. Either way, levels in Contra or Lost Levels are frequently harder than most of these.

There is a difference between Difficult and Unfair Kamek’s Revenge: Yoshi’s island is unfair as it it meant for a younger audience and has MM2 style blind jumps. Wizpig: It’s unfair, need I say more? Watermelon festival: it’s only unfair because of Mario Sunshine’s horrible controls. The perfect run: it’s difficult, not unfair, as it is a task presented near/at the end of the game testing all that you have learned in the past Tubular: it’s difficult because as a bonus stage it is only accessible after you beat the game, so not only is it optional but by that time you have probably already seen a P-balloon before. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk I typed this all on my phone and now my fingers hurt.

@@NotRick05 I was gonna say "You think Pauline is bad, try the boss spirit from MGS3" then I remembered my cheap strategy for that fight and the Pauline fight. Boss, Kirby... Suck her up, fall off fast, and Up B, done. Don't do bowser's grab and dive, that kills you now. Also for Pauline, grab any fast character, and have the staff that shoots a laser. Done deal.

@@pohatunuva3771 You need to ground pound a lot in that section to get through it. This section and the beep block sections were the hardest. Took me about 1000 lives to get through the stage with Mario no power ups but was well worth it.

You have to understand, levels like this were designed when most players didnt OWN thier games, but rented this. This was to force them to rent them more and make the game companies and video stores more money.

Not really. All you have to do is take your finger off the accelerator when you hit the boost panels for an extra boost. If you get the perfect start and do that chances that you never see Wizpig after the start. I had more trouble with the first water race when the tracks get reversed.
