I hope to see another TXR on a modern engine. Loved that series. Been playing TXR3 lately.

Rip, I just wish their final game would have been their best, like they put everything into it, like the car list from drift 2/txr 3, all the highways from all the previous games, with the same visuals as import tuner challenge, and it should have been a multi platform game with a port to the newer consoles

I'd feel a TXRZ and Drift 2 car roster would take a game like that higher. Personalization from Zero and the more unique boss cars and presentation etc

In zero boss cars felt unique since they had 10hp more at stock than a normal version of the same car

You forgot Wangan Dead Heat AKA Highway 2000 for Sega Saturn.

Just a small correction, TXR3 and SB01 are the same game with the first one being the western (localized) version of the latter (jp/og)

Who ever did the driving for these videos is horrible, that aside these are some of my fondest racing game memories as a kid playing Tokyo Xtreme/2/3/zero combing FAQ's to find what characters are needed on your lisence plate to draw out certain wanderers, setting up gear ratios for the transmission, arguing with friends who only used the dodge viper once unlocked Edit: i do think they could have done a bettwr job on the Xtreme Racer Drift games, although i did love/appreciate the Togue settings

I own the TXDR 2 for the PS2, and got as far as Kaido President in Hokkaido. I almost beaten him, but I was too excited that I disconnected the PS2 controller. And the game doesn't pause when controller unplugged. And whenever I versus him again, his crank his difficulty to 11.

@@nah6898 Import Tuner Challenge was pretty mediocre (the customization, while so nice, it was not enough to make up how lacking the whole game is) C1 Racing battle is probably my favorite from the series
