So far, there have only been three generations of the wonderful Audi RS6, with each generation more impressive than the next.
The first C5 Audi RS6 was a twin-turbocharged V8, all-wheel drive sedan or wagon. For the 2nd gen. C6, Audi gave the RS6 a completely new twin-turbocharged engine, this time with two more cylinders. The 3rd gen C7 Audi RS6 Avant is a different beast. Audi went back to the twin-turbo V8 and that lose of two cylinders coincidentally lost it almost 20 hp, boasting 553 hp. However, despite losing cylinders and power, it actually became faster. The 5th gen. C8 will be the first RS 6 Avant available in the US and Canada.
