Super monkey ball didn't fall. It changed. I love both versions equally! That is the best way to enjoy this series!

It's because series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi dosen't work on the franchise anymore.

@@LilTayvhoAfter the completion of Super Monkey Ball 2, Nagoshi wanted to focus on the Yazuka franchise. During the development of the first Yazuka game, Amusement Vision shut down in order finance the first game. That's why every entry after two was criticized for it's controls starting with Touch and Roll. This issue still persists in the recent banana mania.
