@@jadenrosethe4986 Yes. If you defest darkhon, Galeem will cover the galaxy with light making another bad ending. The only way to get the good ending is to fight them both at the same time. Making them both get defeated restoring the worlds balance.

Metroid prime 3, truly a classic. Never forget all the times I died and saw samus get corrupted, truly chilling.

In DKC2, Diddy and Dixie are literally burned alive because that’s not a jail cell they’re in on the Game Over screen...it’s actually a CREMATORY!

The donkey Kong 3 and luigi's mansion game overs always scared me. Mainly the donkey Kong 3 one with how unknown it feels. Like, who or what are they looking at. Why is the light off?. So many questions that are unanswered and I love it

I find the Paper Mario: Color Splash death by Toads punching Mario quite funny.

One of the toads said “ my butt is getting kinda numb!”

Also, Color Splash Toads doomed the world.

Dying on DKCR used to scare me so much. If my sister was playing the final boss I would leave the room in fear of her dying and me having to see Tiki Tong’s terrifying face show up on the screen. It wasn’t just Tiki Tong though, every tiki on the death screen scared me when I was little. I used to have nightmares over this game, and it didn’t help that the tikis were also silhouetted, which made the experience even more horrific. Just seeing them with their giant, wide eyes staring into my soul traumatized me as a child and I’m not ashamed to admit that I am still petrified by those little monsters today.

There are a few here I don't understand how they're scary. Particularly the one for DKC 3, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Super Mario 3D Land.

Surprised I didn't see the scariest of them all: Ganon's return from Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. The scariest part: It happened often for most gamers.

What about the first two games of Metroid Prime? The first one is simply just Samus lying in defeat, and life support is offline, but the second one is essentially the same, but the first one is tamer. Whereas the second game features a scarier life support system offline: Samus's heart stops, and it says "Mission Failure. Game Over." That one is scarier than the first. Although I'm glad I never played that series.

DKC2's game over isn't very scary, because of the happy music in the background. DKC's game over is pretty disturbing with the sad song and the dark image, but I think DKC3 is the most unsettling of all of them
