正直初登場作品であるα外伝のスレードゲルミル時が一番カッコイイ 当時敵として出てきてすごく感動して、後で熟練度上げたら仲間になると聞いてその為だけに最初からやり直したのは良い思い出 敵の時は「メイガスの剣なり」だったのが味方になると「悪を断つ剣なり」になるのも良かった

There's a reason fans love Sanger. It isn't his huge sword, which ironically isn't overcompensating for how badass it is. It isn't that by canon he uses Olde-Japanese because his friend trolled him, making him hilariously campy. No. It's cause this is the badass who when he first appeared, solo'd Amuro Ray, Kouji Kabuto, the Getter Team, and many more, CASUALLY, and had them all FREAKING THE F*** out. Sanger is the badass whom when they met him in the present, they were basically THANKING GOD he was (again) on their side. Sanger is the badass, who when he battles a cyborgized alternate-timeline version of himself, is capable of destroying a shelter shell meant to endure an intergalatic apocalypse, WITH JUST A SWORD CLASH. Sanger is the badass who BEAT that cyborgized alternate-timeline him IN a 1v1 duel. Sanger is the badass who can make badguys shut up just by saying "SHUT UP! AND LISTEN!" Sanger is the badass who doesn't even NEED to turn on his unit's natural weapons. Sanger is the badass who's cleaved GODS in half multiple times (whether optionally, as part of a cutscene, or just BY LORE). Sanger is the badass who has OTHER badasses fond of MASSIVE SWORDS _BEGGING_ to duel him (Al Van). Sanger is the badass who can make protags from OTHER SRW timelines his B***H cause they KNOW the pecking order. Sanger is the man who can make "Men Riding Men" look BADASS and NOT homosexual (although it's still hilarious in hindsight). Basically put: Sanger Zonvolt is the Mr Popo of Super Robot Wars/Taisen. And he has EARNED that title. And I doubt anyone would deny they could imagine Sanger cleaving anyone who tried to one-up him on the pecking order.

Indeed, why am I? I think I may have spent too much time with people out of my own world. Who would have figured crossing worlds would force you to see yourself as only one of many of the same person? Fortunately, my other android self from a different timeline used the name Wodan Ymir.

This is why I cannot stop watching the old footages. You discover a new detail every now and then. If you watch closely, whenever the Sanshiki Zankantou expands, there is a prerequisite motion of pulling the scabbard down to expand it first. Never noticed it before.

Super RObot alpha 3 , back in 2003 is the first game i'ved experienced the power of Daizengar, and the most bad ass pilot ever Zanger Zanvolt. Fast forward 2018, you uploaded this evolution clip... Its like looking back and reminiscing the good times of playing the game with this robot and pilot through the years. NIKioh ... Thank you. Then again Manly tears have been shed watching his ulti hit 100%.

One of, if not *_the_* OG Giant anime sword wielder, and as far as i'm concerned the father of the Rocket Powered Greatsword. Compared to the others, Sanger is absolutely the most badass of them all. Listening to this guy makes boys grow into men! Truly an idol to males everywhere.

This is literally what I love about the OG games! You see how great it looked in the alpha series, only to be made even better in the OG engine? I'm so hoping they do the Z series with the engine after the alpha series!!

Sänger isn’t even your typical Super Robot mecha anime protagonist, there’s literally no character like him in the genre before, and even after. He’s more similar to classic VG protagonists like Dante, Ryu Hayabusa, and even more modern ones like… Ragna the Bloodedge (yes I know it’s mainly the appearance but still). And he originated from _Super Robot Wars?_

8:13 when your mecha morphs to fit your spirit... 9:26 sure we could be in asteroids but my spirit will morph it into a sunrise... because i can.... i feel like we need to vote to bug sanger to the level of elzam/ratsel... so his song also overrides bosses...

Actually, I'm wondering if Bandai makes something where Excellen dies in the story to represent Mizutani, so nobody else would need to voice Excellen. I may sound cruel, but I feel like having someone else voice Excellen kinda disrespects Mizutani's work. It would be as if Mizutani was just there to work on part of a game instead of being honored. Then again, you'd think Bandai would've done that by now, but the sudden removal of Excellen sounds awkward and difficult to incorporate within the current storyline. Plus, killing off Excellen could also be considered disrespect to Mizutani.

As I said before, the sudden removal of Excellen is quite difficult to place within the story. You could also ask who would voice Excellen right before her death, which probably indicates that going with a new voice actor and continuing on is the better option. Also, I believe Shadow Mirror's Kyosuke was influenced by the Einst to undergo that kind of transformation. Yes, Kyosuke would be a much deadlier force than usual if Excellen is gone, but chances are he would still be human. Plus, all the Einst except Alfimi are dead, and I doubt Alfimi is leaving Axel's side.
