Evolution of Rainbow High - A Retrospective in Indigo: Shadow High Dia, Glitch, Monique & RH C&C
Today we will be taking a look at 4 dolls from the Rainbow High family of dolls. These 4 dolls span the last 2 years of the series, from Shadow High series 2 to Rainbow High Color & Create. Also, these dolls all share a color theme, in various indigos.
See the evolution of how we went from getting a full colored doll to when they released the Rainbow High Color & Create series where we could create our own colorful doll. Series 2 Shadow High was when we first saw the second outfit was no longer included and instead, we were given accessories.

I am so glad you enjoy seeing the before and after of their hair. 💜 I will admit that a lot of my earlier videos I didn't wash the hair until after I finished the videos, which I realized can make them look so much better most of the time. So, I started including it. Some of my dolls I still have yet to wash though, because the hair styles are so elaborate, and I fear I won't be able to recreate. 😆

The fact that Shadow High Series 2 had 3 Indigo dolls is very interesting to me. Glitch is also my 6th favorite SH doll as well and is so beautiful! I especially love Glitch's color scheme, clothes, and face a lot. Dia Mante is also one of the few SH dolls that I have very mixed thoughts on and is one of my least favorite SH dolls. She looks okay, but not the most beautiful or impressive to me.🖤💜

I totally agree with you about Dia Mante. I think, for me, the hair being so short and having tinsel in it is a double whammy. If it was one or the other, I'd be okay with it. But both are just not to my liking. Glitch is such a great designed doll. I love her outfit and face so much. 💜

That was an *AWESOME* tutorial!!! You had mentioned using Rit Dye in the past on various dolls but I was skeptical. WAY easier than I imagined and the final result was really cool!!

She turned out great ! I have the Exact same doll & hopefully will dye her this weekend. I have a light brown (tan) & pink Rit Dye I'm going to try on her. Hopefully to look like a dark blonde with pink streaks. I've dyed 2 other Olivia before & worked well. I also have an extra Meena & Scarlett to dye. Maybe not this weekend, but we'll see.
