8:17 if you play GTA 5 on PS5, I think the reflection mirror is great and big improvements. Because GTA 5 on PS5 version has the feature called "Ray Tracing", right? Do you remember about glass shards and mirror damage? Here, on PS5 version will be different because there are the details added who of course it's on PS5 only. But I think modders will add the improvements.

Small logic: in GTA SA, if you shoot very close to the mirror with an RPG, the rocket will pass it and it won't impact. This same thing happens if you shoot the little lake that's located in Del Perro Beach, the rocket will fly away [4:07]

In GTA VC, the Hotel floor is a fake mirror thats reflect the interior but not Tommy, in GTA4 there is a Mirror in the 2nd Penthouse, you can get it, by kill Dwane's Brother "Playboy X". There a Claude Outfit too. the most Vehikels has a simple reflection on it.

GTA 5 has perfect reflections in the mirror if you boost your graphics settings. The low quality is only because it's set to a lower quality reflection setting.

The real reason why mirror doesn't get destroyed in San Andreas is because it doesn't know it's being shot at, since it can't show the reflection of bullets.

I remember how mirrors in games work from Metal Gear Solid 1 where there's like a small room behind the mirror to simulate a reflection. Maybe its the same here in GTA

to correct you,in GTA IV there is a mirror in the toilets of that place *(forgot it's name) where you kill luca and tuna to retrieve the diamonds.

Something about mirrors in games people may not know is: Before ray-tracing in games become a thing, mirrors was not an actual reflection but the game itself being rendered "mirrored" from the other side, this is why even in GTA 5 the quality was low. If you look closely can see how it is "3D" and not an "2D reflection" and also is why is so hard to do in cars or to apply special effects.
