For some reason that 60s tractor is giving me this very slight sensation of nostalgia. I think it is because agriculture around these parts began to die out in the 60s, and as such most local photos of tractors contain models like that.

Some of these I had as a kid, nostalgia!

I remember that 8260 Tractor set, got it for christmas like 10 years ago. A shame that one of the bucket's connectors got brittle enough to snap while attaching one day.

And the "Danish ring roller" is probably a refrence to the danish company Dalbo. Dalbos HQ is located 5km away from LEGOLAND and they have produced ringrollers since the 1950s and they are amoung the 3 biggest producers of ringrollers today

Reeeaaally wish I had gotten that Combine Harvester Transporter set from a few years back before it was discontinued. Because I have they newer red tractor and their now releasing so many farm, Animal, and nature themed sets. Also, wouldn't it be cool if they someday released another limited edition Cargo Train set like the Red on from 2012 and it included a little old fashioned orange tractor with catapiller treads and a semi oval shaped front end as a little nod and reference another piece of childhood nostalgia? Man, that would be perfect.

U missed a micro technic one from 2010 i think AND THE CLAAS XERION MY FAV SET THAT I OWN 🤣🤣

Lego made 2 sets called "Farm" in 2009.

5:47 this includes also a farm with the tractors

First Combine Harvester was in 1989 with set 8862. It was second to the Backhoe. Also the 1986 "Tractor" (set 8849) should have stated it featured a rotating PTO shaft driven from the rear wheel.

The backhoe was a cool design. Had the pneumatic pump and actuators. The combine was pretty cool, just wished it would have been more finished-not just a skeleton.

One important feature of the 1975 tractor of the gear farm set (I had back then) was the steering of the front axle

Definitely! I mean.... only 35 sets (approximately) over 57 years... that's kinda sad. Hopefully we'll get more in the future now that Lego is releasing ~800 sets each year.

That 2006 yr model dune buggy tractor probably one of the most good looking technic set built in its year

Mistake: the first Lego Technic tractor is the big blue one in 81.

The green ones remind me of Deutz-Fahr and CLAAS.

Might want to add the 8069, 8455 and 8862 A and B models.. which are all basically tractor loaders. Also the 8862 B is the first LEGO combine harvester if i'm not mistaken.

Good call, 8069 is a log loader I think. 8455 and 8862 are backhoes, plus the 8862 B-model is a harvester. In this video I tried to stay away from loaders and backhoes though, and just focus on farm tractors. Otherwise it would be too many sets lol. These take a really long time to model and animate

So Lego's farm equipment sets really were first steps for the brand? First use of clear pieces, first use of a minifigure, etc...

you missed the best technic tractor ever 42054

Cool video, but sometimes you have the wrong colours for the rubber tyres where you use the wrong material for the render. You can see this most clearly at 3:47 in with the 1991 Railroad Tractor Flatbed where the front and rear tyres use two different materials, with the front tyres being too shiny.

In 2021 City has got a new version of farm tractor

Missing the lego batman scarecrows harvester and the tractor in that set. Also Lego did make a forge harvester

Thanks for the sub! And yeah you're probably right about the bales. Makes sense that they would be straw from the straw chopper. I'll be doing a follow-up video with the tractor sets I missed in this one, and I'd love to have some input from anyone who knows more about farm equipment! Most of my knowledge comes from playing Farming Simulator lol

Glad you enjoyed it! I realized after I made this video that I did miss some of the tractor models. The list of sets I based this on came from a search on Brickset.com. Since then I've found some other ways to get better search results so hopefully my videos will be a bit more thorough in the future!

At some point lego city sets became cheap to my eyes, they had a peak point on 2009 quality wise but a bit downfall from there

1972 Tractor - this is so anti-Lego. Can't make a duel arm mount for the plough, let's just create a unique piece.

the video is beautiful, too bad there are no lego set numbers, at least in the cases you could find them
