They never changed the pitch, fake news. Kept the exact same marimba until iPhone 4, exact same opening until iPhone X, kept the same reflection until now😊

it probably wasnt the actual audio file. probably a recorded audio file. the difference was the speaker quality in each phone

Opening got default on ios 7 and higher. Yhe iphone 4, 4s and 5 came with marimba as default but then got opening

@@spamflip Well, quality aside the pitch was, indeed, straight up higher in some of the recordings. Why? Who knows. Likely edited or somehow sped up during processing by the original recorder. This video clearly didn't shoot for accuracy or quality and these clips were likely skimmed online.

I used for my 14 pro max marimba ringtone

My dad had the iPhone 4 when iPhone 8 came around. He had to get a new iPhone because I was playing with it and dropped it. That is how delicate they are. Later he got the iPhone 10 and yet still has it. If you get a phone get a good case and a screen protector trust me it will last longer.

0:11 at 0.75x is iOS 0 ringtone
