There's actually a few different revivals in Luigi's Mansion 3. Sometimes, Polterpup will give Luigi a little nudge to get back into the fight.

I had no idea they added polterpup to Luigi’s Mansion 1. Kind of blew my mind

It's for the 3Ds remaster of Luigi's Mansion.

Now I see why it says “Good Night” instead of “Game Over” when you lose. Luigi is not dead, he’s just sleeping 😴 after his HP reaches 0.

no and at that time period E. Gadd and dark moon era luigi judging by the cutscene luigi is at Old clockwork so polterpup is still very mischievous probably a diffrent polterpup

Polterpup reviving luigi never gets old

I love it Luigi never actually die. He is either passed out or sleeping like a baby.

My theory to why Polterpup appears is that once he found out that Luigi from the past has a golden bone Polterpup used E Gadd's time machine (the same one he used to transfer Gooigi to the past) to travel just for that eat that bone and wake Luigi up when he's unconscious
