The difference between the Medusa fight in the first game and the fight against Hades in Uprising is enormous. Might be the biggest difference (gameplay wise) that we had on Evolution of Gaming so far.

+MajoubJohnson10 Well to be fair, Medusa's battle was actually worthy to be considered a final battle even though technically it isn't since it's not even the half of the game. But if you devide the game into 2 parts, the Medusa part and the Hades part then you can consider Medusa's battle to be the final battle for her part.

I think I almost died of a panic attack about 12 times

I enjoy Hades's personality in Kid Icarus Uprising's final battle. He starts off like normal Hades (Well, Hades in that game), but as it goes on, he finally just loses patience. Heck, it could probably even be shown through the Portraits in the bottom screen.

I Hope Miitopia gets a Sequel at Least. The first one is Good and could actually have 2 or More Playthroughs from it's Premise Alone, But what if we take that Concept and Expand not only that but the World and Characters to new Heights. THAT Would be The Perfect Game for me. ^^

A series is as popular as it earns to be. They could do more marketing about it, but it's appeal is as big as it has earned it(they can still branch out more, but that's for future games)

I love Hades’ voice actor, god he plays him so well

Note that 2 chapters before the final fight for Hades you are literally inside of him and you make his heart explode to escape him

1st game: Discount Mother Brain 2nd game: Final Fantasy boss. Not even a final boss, just a normal boss. 3rd game: One of the best villains in a Nintendo game and amazing all-around.

If they decide to make a new Kid Icarus game; Orcos should DEFINITELY be that villain.

No no, we get Orcos taking Viridi’s spot as main villain, then after 12 chapters and a crazy boss fight, as Orcos falls, blue smoke envelops his body and Orcos screams in pain and terror. And then... “Guess whooooo?” Hades possesses Orcos and the two fight for dominance for a while while Pit and Palutena prepare, even upgrading the Great Sacred Treasure (and Palutena secretly commissions a spare), before Hades and Orcos decide to combine their efforts to crush Pit. Final boss is a crazy battle with a Hades/Orcos fusion that requires Pit, Dark Pit, both Great Sacred Treasures, and even some direct intervention by Palutena and Viridi (and maybe some other gods) to win. Game ends happily afterward.

Kid Icarus: A Wall. Kid Icarus Of Myths and Monsters: Your standard 8-bit demon-woah that is big. Kid Icarus Uprising: *G R E A T S A C R E D T R E A S U R E , D O Y O U R T H I N G!!* Edit: Also, according to Chuggaaconroy, damage to Hades does nothing until he starts running. But I recommend shooting before that anyway.

I love Hades. He is my hands-down favorite video game villain of all time.

That’s an even bigger comeback jump than any of Mario’s.

The Kid Icarus series sure has a tendancy for long final boss battles better than Mario and Metroid's.

Crazy how it took over 20 years for a sequel to be made from 1991 to 2012

Of Myths and Monsters was forgotten by even its own series. Then again, it was developed in the US with no info from the JP dev team coming over, just the base game from the NES, so it kinda makes sense.

Okay, so Kid Icarus for the DS looks amazing.

in uprising you can avoid hades' tornado attack by moving into the bottom corners. it helps to avoid that attack to keep some health

How to make Kid Icarus Uprising 2 work on the switch: 1.Gyrocontrols for the camera, right/left stick for retical or just have the retical fixed in the middle like splatoon. 2.Have the portraits appear on the left side of the screen 3.Powers appear on the right side of the screen. 4.Everything else speaks for itself Now if you disagree with this i hope you are ok having no portaraits, powers, or camera control.This is the only way, i think

There's a little bug I found with the final strike where if I fire right as the meter is finished charging, I release the final blast, then Viridi says "NOW! FIRE!" It's satisfying in a weird way.
